No one will test your patience like this man.

Bob Ross is an ultimate classic. Since having his show, "Beauty Is Everywhere" air on Netflix in 2016, he's gained a little more popularity with the younger crowds.

People have started to throw painting parties where the guests follow along with the show on their own canvas. If you ever watch an episode without painting along, you'll think, "This is so easy. Why don't I start painting?"

This idea is fun in theory, but if there's anyone you least expect to test your patience, it's Bob Ross. And boy will he test it.

1. You sit down, ready to paint, confident as ever.

You've got your paints, your canvas, your confidence...

2. Then the colors start going across the screen and you wish Bob Ross would stop talking for a second so you can catch them.

Bob, you're already painting and I haven't even figured out if I need Phthalo Blue or Prussian Blue on my palette. Maybe both, but I wouldn't know since you won't wait.

3. Wait, we were supposed to have stuff on the canvas already!?

What is liquid white and why did I not know to have it on my canvas already?

4. This isn't so bad now...

The mountain shapes are pretty easy. I can do this now.

5. Wow, would you look at that water!

That highlight across that lake: flawless.

6. "Just tap your brush into these different paints and look at the beautiful colors it makes on the canvas!"

Bob, this looks nothing like your color! How is this supposed to work for me!?

7. Stop painting happy trees for two seconds and help me, Bob!

Go back to the mountain shading, I'm so lost now!

8. STOP WITH THE TREES AND WAIT FOR ME TO FINISH!

I'm not here to play games! You're going way to fast and nothing looks right! How are you so calm!?

9. I'm done with this. I'm just going to randomly paint trees until this episode is done.

There is no "joy in painting." This is all a lie.

10. Well... this painting could be worse.

It looks absolutely nothing like Bob Ross's painting, but I can kind of make out some mountains.

12. Well, that was a stressful half hour but I made it through.

This was a wild ride, but I'm alive.

13. I couldn't have made it through without Bob Ross's soothing words.

Don't tell me that's not something Bob Ross would say.

14. Can't wait to han-- OIL PAINT TAKES HOW LONG TO DRY!?

Apparently oil paint takes six months to dry, so I guess this won't be going up for a while.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
