February 14, the day that every girl (and guy) who is not in a relationship dreads. Do not sit at home alone this Valentine's day and wallow in your loneliness. Instead, go out, have fun, and live your life! It is ten times better to be single because you have the freedom to do and wear what you want (aka sweatpants). So cheers to being single, and listen to the wise words of my Dad, "Boys are like boogers, flick 'em." Flick the boys (or girls) to the side and celebrate yourself this Valentine's Day.
1. You save money
You don't have to buy anyone a gift except yourself, how great is that?!
2. You can celebrate Galentine's Day instead
What is Galentine's day?
3. It is just a normal day
You can pretend like it doesn't even exist, that is what I do.
4. You can celebrate February 15, Valentine's candy on sale
5. You can Netflix without the Chill
We all know that you actually want to WATCH that chick flick, so now you can.
6. You don't get another stuffed animal
You know that it would end up in the bottom of your closet in about a week anyways.
7. You don't have to share your candy
We all know that you don't want to share. There are two types of people in the world: those who binge eat all their candy in one day, and those who savor it for the rest of the month. Which are you?
8. YOU $AVE MONEY
This one is on here twice because it is just that important.
9. You can eat as much as you want to without judgement
You can order dessert too!
10. You can eat cookie dough instead of making cookies
Go ahead, you know you want to.
11. Way less pressure
You don't have to stress out about what your date is thinking, all you have to worry about is what ice cream flavor you are going to eat next.
12. "Treat Yo Self"
It is all about you!
13. You can hangout with your other single friends
Trust me, you are not the only single one in the world. So, get together with your other single friends and bond over your singleness.
14. You can wear black if you want to
It matches everything, and accurately describes how we feel on Valentine's day.
