Due to current circumstances, many of us haven't been on a cruise in a while. Here are 14 things that I love about cruising and that you probably love too. If you've never cruised before, then here are some convincing reasons to take the leap and put it on your bucket list. Sail Away!

1. Endless Buffets

One of my favorite parts about cruising is the buffets. There is so much food. You can try new things and find new favorite foods that you would not have tried otherwise. If you are a food lover, a cruise is the place to go!

2. Plays and Musicals

Even though you are in the middle of the sea, the musical performances are astounding. They are really Broadway level productions! People who hate plays and musicals often enjoy them immensely while on the ship.

3. Comedy Shows

If you need a good laugh, comedy shows are the way to go. My family attended a majority of the comedy shows on our cruises, and we enjoyed them immensely.

4. Fancy Dining Nights

Every night, you can go to the fancy restaurant and get excellent quality food. Most cruises have two nights that are fancy dining, so you get all dressed up!

5. Sitting On the Balcony

There is nothing better than sitting on the balcony and feeling the sea breeze on your face. You never know what you will spot. Plus, if you enjoy photography, you will get beautiful shots of the ocean from the balcony.

6. Sightseeing and Exploring New Places

Cruise ships stop at various locations around the world. It's the perfect opportunity to see the world and how other people live.

7. Hitting the Pool

Although they can be packed, what's better than sitting in the water during a warm tropical day?

8. Onboard Activities and Amenities

Every ship has different activities and amenities onboard. Some ships have golf courses, bumper cars, roller skating, ski-diving simulators, surfing simulator, observation decks, and more! It is always fun to explore and try new things.

9. Looking for Dolphins and Aquatic Animals

We always make sure to bring our binoculars on the trip to watch for aquatic animals. I always feel immense joy at seeing these creatures in their natural habitat.

10. Watching the Sunset and Sunrise

Sunrises and sunsets always looked more gorgeous when on the sea. Even though it's a vacation, we always made sure to be awake in the morning to see the sunrise. We also always tried to watch the sunset each evening. The colors just seem brighter when reflecting against the water.

11. A Stress-free Week

While on a cruise ship, your stress simply evaporates. Who cares about work or school when you are rocking back and forth in the sea? You can simply turn off your phone and focus on the present.

12. Accommodating Staff

The staff on the ships are always nice and helpful. They always seem to have a smile on their face, and they put forth immense effort to help their patrons enjoy their experience.

13. On-ship Restaurants

Besides buffets and fancy dining, the ship also holds restaurants that are out of this world. If you go on some Carnival lines, you can eat Guy Fieri's famous fries and burgers. You will never want to leave after you try one of them!

14. Excursions

You can book amazing excursions for your different stops. Ranging from island tours to swimming with dolphins, excursions are memorable! You can even plan your own excursions too, and they are just as enjoyable.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
