With Valentine's Day just around the corner, many of us are planning our special dates and constantly thinking of the person we will spend that day with. However, there is still a majority of us out there that do not and will not have a Valentine. This article is for us. We work hard all year to better ourselves in hopes of proving to someone that we are worthy of a relationship just to have another Valentine's Day alone. So instead of sitting all by ourselves this year and crying, we should cuddle up under our favorite blanket(s), grab a bowl of popcorn or our favorite candy and enjoy a good Netflix marathon compiled of all the movies and series that will essentially make us forget that it's even Valentine's Day.

1. "Rubber"

This tire doesn't have time for love. He's too busy blowing up birds, bunnies, human beings and more. If you watch this, eat another bowl of ice cream every time Robert the tire blows something up with his psychic powers.

2. "To Be or Not to Be"

Hilarious situations unfold as these Polish actors get tangled up in a plan to prevent the Nazi Germans from finding a list of underground fighters. You'll be laughing from start to finish while watching this.

3. "Chelsea Handler: Uganda Be Kidding Me Live"

Chelsea Handler is already fully opposed to Valentine's Day (and we love her for it). Watch as she recounts her journey to Africa in this hilarious stand-up show. I can't tell you how many times I have watched this, and I still laugh to the point of tears every time.

4. "The Master of Disguise"

Who could forget Pistachio Disguisey from this 2002 classic? Watch this Italian waiter fight off a criminal mastermind with his hilarious, inherited imitation powers.

5. "The Walking Dead"

Who needs Valentine's Day when you can survive a zombie apocalypse?

6. "The Emperor's New Groove"

A South American emperor gets turned into a llama and experiences a great change in fortune. Maybe you could even follow this one up with the sequel "Kronk's New Groove."

7. "Making a Murderer"

Everyone is going crazy about this new series! Why not jump on the bandwagon this Valentine's Day?

8. "Madam Secretary"

Forget about Valentine's Day and put yourself into the world of U.S. politics while watching "Madam Secretary."

9. "The 100"

Instead of watching all of the gooey love stories, you can watch these 100 space station residents go back to Earth to determine if it's habitable after a nuclear apocalypse 100 years ago. That sounds more enjoyable than receiving chocolates from that random guy you met on Tinder.

10. "Scooby-Doo"

Who doesn't love Scooby-Doo? That's right. No one. (You can also follow this one up with the sequel "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.")

11. "Air Buddies"

Watch these puppies go on an adventure to save their parents instead of saving your love life.

12. "Devil"

Five people are trapped in an elevator and one of them is the devil in disguise. What happens next? This is definitely not your typical Valentine's Day movie.

13. "White Chicks"

Here's another hilarious movie that will get your mind off of your love life and more on the fact that you still haven't become an FBI detective (and you should have).

14. "Bob's Burgers"

You think that your life is complicated on Valentine's Day? Check out Bob Belcher and his crazy family in this Emmy-winning series. I love you, Tina Belcher.

I hope your Valentine's Day is not too lonely now that you have this list of awesome movies and series you can watch while avoiding Valentine's Day.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
