J. K. Rowling created a story that has defined a generation. For most of us, we've known Harry Potter as long as we've known most of our friends. We've grown up with Harry, and he became more than just a character for us. We all wanted to get our Hogwarts letters and visit Platform 9 3/4. We couldn't wait for the next book or movie to come out. We dressed up as wizards and witches for Halloween and had our very own wands.
