14 Boozy Costumes To Consider This Halloween

Halloween is definitely one of the best holidays. If you don't thoroughly enjoy Halloween, then we probably can't be friends. It's the one day of the year where you get to dress up as whatever you want and it's completely normal. Choosing what to be for Halloween can be one of the most stressful times because there's just too many options. Do I want to go with a group or fly solo? Do I want a funny costume or maybe a little risky? Am I going to be cold if I wear shorts or a dress? Ugh. It's just too hard of a decision to make on your own, so I've put together some ideas for the 21-year-olds who enjoy a drink every now and then.

1. Salt, Tequila and Lime

This is perfect for a trio and super easy to make.

2. Jack and Daniel

Two black shirts, some white paint and boom, you can be Jack Daniel. Have one person write Jack on one shirt and Daniel on the other. It will be that much better if your names are Jack and Daniel.

3. Jack and Coke

Perfect for the couple who would rather have Whiskey and Coke than any of those fruity drinks.

4. Booze Light Beer

What better way to almost destroy your favorite childhood memories than with this rendition of Buzz Lightyear?

5. A Six pack of your favorite beer.

Show your love for your favorite beer with this costume.

6. Solo Cup

Super easy and fun costume, just beware of people singing Toby Keith's "Red Solo Cup" to you all night. Make it a couple's costume by adding you favorite drink or even a Toby Keith impersonator.

7. Beer Pong

Take your Solo cup costume to a whole new level by making life size Solo cups into a game of beer pong.

8. Expert level Solo cup dress.

This is only for serious Solo cup lovers. This costume will take a little more time and dedication.

9. Corona and Lime

Carry around a speaker playing nothing but "Corona and Lime" by Shwayze all night for added effect.

10. Beer Buddies

Grab all your favorite pals and dress up as your favorite beers.

11. Jägerbomb

Because who doesn't love a good Jägerbomb?

12. Malibu

Take a white t-shirt and draw some palm trees and a sunset with Malibu on it. Then, get some leis to wear, put some flowers in your hair and even wear a hula skirt if you're really trying to feel like you're actually in Malibu, not just drinking it.

13. Slap the bag

This one is my personal favorite because it's funny and cute. Just make sure no one actually slaps you.

14. Beer Boxtimus Prime

For the ones out there who love Transformers and much as they do beer.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
