I think most of us can agree that it's never too early to crank up those Holiday tunes. And what's better than celebrating Thanksgiving with your family while listening to music that brings such holiday cheer?! Here's a round up of some classic holiday tracks you need on your playlist this season!
1. "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey
Shall we start with a holiday favorite? There's no way this song comes on and you don't jump on your feet to belt it out, even trying those super high notes we can't even hit in the shower.
2. "Baby, It's Cold Outside" by Glee Cast ft. Darren Criss and Chris Colfer
I have to admit that I love this version because if you were as into the show as I was, then the memory of these two finally getting together gets you every time.
3. "Mary, Did You Know" by Pentatonix
I swear this song gives me chills every time I hear it, and sometimes it's even made me tear up. You don't have to be religious to understand the heaviness of this track, but it definitely adds some weight if you are.
4. "Santa Clause Is Comin' To Town" by Bruce Springsteen
Who can forget Springsteen's Santa's coming to town rendition and how he told Clarance to practice real hard so Santa will bring him a new saxophone?
5. "The Christmas Shoes" by Newsong
This one is another tear-jerker and is more for being appreciative of the family you have during the holidays.
6. "Believe" by Josh Groban
If you're a fan of or have ever seen The Polar Express, then this is already on your list. If not, then you definitely should add it on there now!
7. "Feliz Navidad" by Jose Feliciano
Whether you know the lyrics or not, and let's face it, who doesn't know the lyrics nowadays, this is your jam! Always has and always will be.
8. "Last Christmas" by Wham!
Gotta have a heartbreak song on here somehow.
9. "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" by Frank Sinatra
Come on. You thought I would leave this one out?
10. "Jingle Bell Rock" by Bobby Helms
We all need a little jingle bell rock in our lives, don't we?
11. "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" by Thurl Ravenscroft
This isn't just on this list because my entire family lives and breathes How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
12. "Where Are You Christmas" by Faith Hill
Again, totally not because we're movie obsessed about Mr. Grinch.
13. "Christmas Canon" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra
I think this one isn't as common but it definitely should be. The melody takes you on such a journey you can't help but get lost in the music.
