When people told me that college is where you truly meet your "forever friends," I didn't really take them that seriously, but now that I'm on my second spring break, I completely believe it. I really don't say that I appreciate them that much, but I really do. Here are 13 reasons why you should probably thank your college friends, just in case you forgot to before.

1. For being there when I need you

2. For driving me around everywhere, and allowing me to hijack your AUX chord

3. For always being down to get food or coffee

4. For motivating me to study when all I want to do is watch Netflix and do nothing

5. For all the adventures we’ve taken

Impromptu drive to check out the campus for next year, getting are cartilages pierced, drive to the beach, etc.

6. For taking care of me

Whether it’s when I get too stressed and break down, or when I just can’t hang

7. For knowing when it’s time to party

8. For getting me even when we may not all come from the same backgrounds, states, etc.

9. For sticking by me through all the bullshit that is college

10. For all the late night talks and laughs

11. For being honest with me, and making me be honest with myself

And calling me out on my bullshit

12. For being some of the best friends I've ever had

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
