Season six of "Game of Thrones" kicks off on April 24 on HBO, here are some anticipations and hopes for the new season.
1. Jon Snow to come back to life (yeah, he's definitely dead).
Some people don't want to believe he's dead, but he clearly is and of course it's been confirmed by several of the actors. Still, there is a chance he could return. Lady Melisandre could bring him back with the help of the Lord of Light since she is
2.
3. Jaime and Cersei Lannister getting revenge on the Sand Snakes for Myrcella's murder.
4. Sons of the Harpy defeated.
The Sons of the Harpy seem to be multiplying and getting more and more annoying and deadly. Their last stunt forced Daenerys to flee on the back of
5. Find out what's going on with Bran.
Bran Stark was completely absent from season five. In his last appearance, he was promised he would be able to fly and in the trailer for season six he was walking with the white-walker king, so needless to say there is some explaining to be done.
6. Where did
Two other characters who were completely absent from the last season were
7. Brienne
8. The Faith Militant to go away.
The Faith Militant is super annoying and it's even more annoying that they were handed their power by Cersei who eventually suffered at the hands of the High Sparrow and his henchmen herself. They are a perfect example of why the separation of church and state is a thing and hopefully someone gets rid of them.
9. Queen Margaery and her brother Loras to be set free.
Two victims of the Faith Militant are Queen Margaery and her brother Loras. Neither of them deserve to be imprisoned. They are both of the few characters in the series who aren't horrible people, also their grandmother is very worried about them and they should be released immediately.
10. Jamie and Brienne as a fighting duo.
Enemies turned great friends Jamie and Brienne worked great together as a fighting team and they need to be reunited. Perhaps by getting revenge on the Sand Snakes? It's highly unlikely, though, since they're currently on different continents and thousands of miles apart.
11. Night's Watch mutineers punished.
The Night's Watch's betrayal of Jon Snow was terrible, especially because Ollie was in on it. They can't get away with murdering their Lord Commander, maybe Ghost will take revenge out on them.
12. Arya reunited with her remaining family.
Arya has been without her family and her home for far too long. She is learning a lot, but she was recently blinded and she's surrounded by a bunch of faceless people. Nothing really goes right for her even when things are looking up, they always take a turn for the worse. It'd be great if she got to go home after she finishes her latest adventure.
13. More Daenerys (and her dragons).
