No matter what show, movie, or books you like, you always get attached to the characters within them. You feel their pain and their happiness. You are rooting for them to be their best. Unfortunately, they don't always make it to the end of the story. The characters you love sometimes die, and you feel your own sadness, as well as that of the characters that loved them. The pain fades with time, but certain characters will always make your heart twinge with pain. Those deaths still hurt.

1. Keith Scott

"One Tree Hill" was changed forever when Dan shot his brother Keith. What made his death even worse, was that no one knew the truth about it. Luke tries to find the truth, and unintentionally causes his mother more pain by doing so. Everyone felt the loss of Luke's father figure.

2. Finn Hudson

This was one death that the writers didn't create. Cory Monteith died suddenly, causing heartbreak to everyone who loved him as well as "Glee". His tribute episode was truly memorable and heart wrenching.

3. Derek Shepherd

Derek Shepherd and Meredith Grey went through so much together over the years of "Grey's Anatomy". They fought through the pain of so many things, but no one saw this coming. Derek died saving someone else's life, which is what he did. He loved saving lives. So, as sad as it was, he did himself and everyone else proud.

4. Allison Argent

In a show that lasted so long without killing off a main character, no one could have predicted Allison's death. "Teen Wolf" did a beautiful job of portraying her goodbye. Anyone who saw this felt Scott's pain, and it truly hurt.

5. Lexa

"The 100" is no stranger to character deaths. It's impossible to keep track of how many people have died, but this one stands out. Lexa was a leader who changed her ways because of Clarke. Her and Clarke loved each other, which made Lexa's sudden death even worse. It even caused a riot on social media from all the fans, which shocked the show's writers and cast.

6. Rayna James

In the current season of "Nashville," the main character and icon died after a car crash. She left behind so many people who loved her, including her two daughters and Deacon, the lover of her life. Rayna and Deacon went back and forth for years, and when they finally got to be together she was suddenly gone. Maddie and Daphne were distraught because their mother was their main role model, and they felt guilty for taking her for granted. The pain you see on all of their faces when she dies makes it so much more painful.

7. Marissa Cooper

"The O.C." threw a curveball with this one. Ryan and Marissa had their ups and downs, and when she died he was broken. The core four turned into three without her. It was difficult for her friends to move on without her. Watching this and imagining if that happened to one of your friends makes it all the worse.

8. Thomas J. Sennett

The movie "My Girl" will always be known for Vada yelling about Thomas J. not being able to see without his glasses. He was laying in his casket without them on, and she lost it. He was her best friend, and he died while searching for the ring Vada's mother gave her. She had never known her mother, and now she was losing her best friend. The hurt she was feeling had to have been immense.

9. George O'Malley

"Grey's Anatomy" number two. George's death was extra difficult because his doctors and friends almost didn't know it was him. He was hit by a bus and was unrecognizable. That was until he drew a 007, his nickname, on Meredith's hand. When she realized who it was, everything started to go downhill.

10. Sammy Lieberman

"Dance Academy" was always known as an upbeat but intense show. That was until Sammy was hit by a car, and died on the way to the hospital. His last words to Tara were that he was so proud of them. They were both about to compete in the Prix de Fonteyn, and make all of their dreams come true. He died when everything was finally going right for him.

11. Elena Gilbert

Elena is complicated. "The Vampire Diaries" always has some sort of hope for survival when someone dies. Some way that they could possibly come back. The first time Elena died, she came back as a vampire, something she never wanted. Eventually, she dies with the condition that once Bonnie, her best friend, dies, she will wake up. This was a crazy condition, one that comes to climax in the series finale.

12. Albus Dumbledore

Almost everyone knows the story of Harry Potter and the death of Dumbledore. As it happens, everyone is confused. Eventually, you realize that his death was supposed to happen. Him and Snape had it planned out because it needed to happen. Even so, that didn't make it hurt any less.

13. Lincoln

As said before, "The 100" is no stranger to killing off characters. Lincoln was intense, but loyal and loving. He always took care of Octavia. He always did what was right. Unfortunately, his choice of siding with people different from his own, led to his death. Octavia hasn't been the same since, and the pain of his death lives on.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
