It's that time of year again, full of exams, stress, and avoiding your responsibilities. It's no lie that the only thing getting us through these next few weeks is the promise of the sweet freedom of summer. While you're procrastinating your studying and pretending it isn't hell-week, take a peek at all of the times 'Parks and Rec' accurately portrayed how we all feel during finals.
1. The moment you realize finals are right around the corner.
No matter how easy the semester has seemed thus far, you know it's all about to change.
2. When your professor replaces a final exam with a project or paper.
As long as it isn't a group project, I'll take it.
3. When a professor gives you a final exam AND a final paper.
It's all fun and games until everything is due in the same week.
4. "This final exam will be cumulative."
It's hard enough to remember the information from the last two weeks, let alone an entire semesters worth of material.
5. Suddenly, everything else on your to-do list seems much more important than studying.
My room is never cleaner than during finals week.
6. You begin to reminisce on every class you skipped this past semester
Was it worth it, self?!
7. When you finally decide to start studying.
Where do you begin when you've been slacking off the entire semester?
8. Walking into a final you couldn't care less about.
If it's not part of my major/minor requirements, it isn't worth my time.
9. Looking at the first question and having no clue how to answer it.
Maybe I should've done more studying than I did, but it's too late at this point.
10. Sucking up to your professor in hopes they round your final grade.
I'm not above a little brown-nosing to bring myself from a B+ to an A.
11. The moment you complete your last test.
Honestly, there's no better feeling.
12. Finally, when you receive passing grades for every class.
