Going home for break is great. Going home for Christmas break is even better. The longer time at home surrounded by family and friends is something that is looked forward to all year long. These are some thoughts that may run thorough your mind this Christmas break.
1. I love my new gifts.
This flannel is super warm. And I got cash. So much cash!
2. There are a bunch of Christmas Dinner leftovers in the fridge.
Christmas ham for breakfast, lunch and dinner every morning until it's gone.
3. I really ought to get out of the house, maybe try to hangout with high school friends.
Or I could not.
4. All I've done since I've been home is watch TV.
I watched this Hallmark Christmas movie yesterday and the day before, but I'm going to watch it again.
5. No homework!
I'm not just avoiding it like I did over Fall Break and Thanksgiving Break. The homework doesn't even exist!
6. I should make a list of all my New Year's Resolutions.
I know I'm not going to do any of them, but it's nice to have a list.
7. I'm not moving from my bed today.
Current Status: snuggled under blankets with no intentions of moving.
8. I probably ought to change into actual clothes.
*Has secretly been wearing the same pajamas for three days straight.*
9. Is it okay to eat Christmas cookies for breakfast?
Yes!
10. I do not want to help take down the Christmas tree.
All the magic is gone when the tree is.
11. I am in denial that Christmas Day is actually over.
This is some kind of trick. Maybe Christmas is really tomorrow and I've just been lied to this entire time.
12. Is break really over?
I'm not ready to go back. There's homework and responsibilities there!
