Now that it is officially springtime in Boston, it is time to dust off the sundresses and patiently, or impatiently, wait for warmer temperatures to arrive. Whether you have lived in the northeast your whole life or come from an area with much warmer temperatures, these tips will be very helpful if you are confused about what to do about this change in seasons.
1. Buy a new pair of snow boots.
Just because the calendar says it is spring does not mean that it has stopped snowing! So, if you threw away your boots once the calendar reached March 20th, feel free to go out and get yourself a new pair!
2. While you are at it, but yourself a warmer jacket!
Is it spring? Sorry, I could not tell because this morning it was 18 degrees out.
3. Watch the snow from your window.
"Hey look at that, it's snowing again." "Are you kidding me?" - a conversation that actually happened today.
4. Longingly stare at your short-sleeved clothing.
Do not worry, one day you will be able to wear them but not today. Maybe try again in June?
5. Watch all of your Snapchat friends' spring break stories.

7. Panic because you realize your spring break is long gone.
There really is nothing like realizing the semester ends in six weeks.
8. Constantly check the weather.
Check it in hopes of good news, but be prepared for disappointment.
9. Do some spring cleaning.
This will help you procrastinate on the mountain of work that is building up.
10. Buy new shoes you will not be able to wear yet.
The spring collection at Steve Madden was unaware that you would not be able to wear those suede, open-toed booties until the sidewalk wasn't a slushy mess and the temperature reached above 50 degrees.
11. Hope warmer weather comes soon.
Make sure to remind everyone that it is spring when they complain about how cold it is.
12. Ask yourself why you chose to go to a school in Boston.
"Why didn't I just go to school in Florida?" - everyone
