12 Teeny Tiny Things That STILL Drive You Crazy As A Detail-Obsessed Individual

Is it wrong to want things a certain way?

Being detail oriented has its perks. You make sure things are perfect and flawless. Everyone can count on you to be on time and get work done. You are most likely known for being a "clean freak." This name may even haunt you at times.

You’re aware that being a detailed person is an illness and a gift at the same time. Your friends may even make you fun of you, but you’re the one they call when they can’t get a stain out. When they need help cleaning, who do they call? You...

People probably tell you that you need to live on the wild side and ease up. No matter how hard you try to let go and relax, there are certain little triggers that make you snap.

1. Uneven rolled up sleeves

How do you go around with one sleeve rolled higher than the other? It just doesn’t look right.

2. Running late

Being on time is a small thing, but it says a lot about someone's character. It may seem like it’s no big deal to be 10 minutes late, but it is a big deal.

3. Wrinkled shirts and pants

Wrinkles just say sloppy. Do you want to be sloppy?

4. The misuse of “it’s” and “its”

These words look the same but have VERY different meanings. It’s simple, people.

5. Misplaced items

Just put things back where you found them. It that too much to ask for?

6. ANY type of mess

If you’re a detailed person, messes can send you into cardiac arrest in less than a minute.

7. An unmade bed

What if someone sees your messy, unmade bed? Do you really want someone to see that? Make up your bed... it takes less than five minutes.

8. Driving slow in the fast lane

The fast lane is not meant for people who want to go cruising. Yes, it’s a small thing, but get out of the fast lane!

9. Not using turn signals

Turn signals were invented for a reason. They have a purpose. Use them.

10. Messy eaters

Food is meant to get in your mouth not on the floor or on other people.

11. Smacking when eating

Chew with your mouth CLOSED. That’s all.

12. Being told to “chill out”

Do not tell a detailed person to “calm down” or “chill out.” We just want things to be perfect and we take everything to heart.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
