I think we all know some of the signs that show we have been watching way too much Netflix at once. Some of those things might also be detrimental to our health, but we still continue to sit on our butts all day long and binge-watch anyway. Instead of being productive and doing things like homework, studying for exams, laundry, cleaning, spending time with our friends and going out, we sometimes like to just do nothing, chill all day and watch Netflix. Some of these might be slightly over-exaggerated for entertainment purposes.

1. Your butt or legs gets numb from sitting or laying in bed to long too long.

You've been sitting or lying down for so freakin' long, your legs need a little stretch to get the blood flow going again.

2. You friends have graduated college, gotten married and had kids.

You were so busy watching Netflix that you totally just passed by a bunch of your friends' life milestones that you could have been a part of. But you weren't, because you were too busy finishing up the last season of "Orange Is The New Black."

3. There is no more daylight.

You've skipped all your classes and have stayed in bed all day watching Netflix. It could've been a wonderful day out, and you're still inside.

4. There is no more night.

You've almost unknowingly pulled an all-nighter watching so much Netflix. You probably feel a little guilty for doing this, but then you quickly realize you don't care.

5. It gets really tough to not press the next episode button.

Must. Not. Press. The. Next. Episode. Button. OK, I pressed it. I'm weak. #sorrynotsorry

6. You get insanely irritated every time Netflix asks you if you are still watching.

You wish that Netflix would just auto play the next episode immediately after the episode ends.

7. You have finished everything available on Netflix.

Yeah, I work out. My eyes. I work out my eyes by gluing my eyes to my laptop screen.

8. You forget to eat a real meal.

Ooh, let's snack on some of these Flamin' Hot Cheetos, some cheese sticks, a bag of Twizzlers and a little bit of these Goldfish crackers. Dinner is served.

9. You avoid all responsibility, and slowly start to stray away from them.

Homework? Studying? Homework and studying? No. More like Netflix in my PJs all day.

10. You forget to socialize—and also forgot the fact that you have friends and family.

It was Billy's birthday five days ago? Uh, happy belated birthday Billy, haha...

11. You use all of the 15 seconds in-between episodes to quickly run to the toilet or make a snack run.

Ooh, snacks. But first, let me go pee.

12. When you're not watching Netflix, you're thinking about watching Netflix.

You feel literal pain when you are not watching Netflix, so you have to think about watching Netflix in order to get through the rest of your day.

At the end of the day, you know every single numbed leg and wasted minute of watching Netflix was totally worth it.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
