Show tunes can move people to laugh, cry, and/or sing along. The greatest show tunes can move us to do all of those things. Two of the best feelings you can get is the rush of goosebumps up your arms and a slight chill down your spine.

From Sondheim to Weber to Marx and Lopez, I compiled a list of 13 show tunes every person should listen to in their lives. This doesn’t mean that these are the best 13 show tunes out there.

There are hundreds of fantastic show tunes out there that everyone should listen to once in their lives, but these 14 are just some of my favorites.
