Pokemon GO has been the greatest new app to be created in recent times. Arguably the best app created ever. From someone who never played Pokemon until the new app debuted, this app is the coolest thing ever. There are many reasons that Pokemon GO is the best app ever created, but here are some from a newbie in the Pokemon world.

1. It makes you get up and move!

Michelle Obama has been working on getting kids to get up and move for the last eight years, and Nintendo has gotten kids to get active within 24 hours. That's crazy!

2. Adventurous

There are places around you called "Pokestops". They are different statues and memorials around your location. At those stops you can get different items like "Poke Balls", eggs, potions, and gems. You learn a lot about the area you're in from this cool app.

3. Surrounded by other people

I live on a college campus. The first night I went out to hunt Pokemon, I ran into a ton of other people also playing Pokemon GO. I even saw some of my co-workers and friends.

4. Link between real world and Pokemon world

I thought the coolest thing was when I went to catch a Pokemon, my camera pulled up whatever was in the background. It was almost as if a Pokemon was really in front of me. The technology of it is so amazing!

5. Brings out your inner entomologist

Pokemon was originally based off of entomology, or the study of insects. Many entomologist actually collect and identify insects in real life. This app allows you to be a "virtual entomologist" or, in other words, a Pokemon trainer.

6. Makes you a part of a team

After you reach level 5, you get to choose to be part of a team. There are three teams: Team Instinct (Yellow), Team Mystic (Blue), and Team Valor (Red). A lot of my friends on Face Book feel very united within their teams. GO TEAM INSTINCT!

7. A safe place

There are so many people out playing Pokemon GO, that I feel safer. I was outside on my college campus, and it was dark. I get really nervous when it is dark out and I am alone, but there were all these other college students running around me playing Pokemon GO. I knew that I was safe with all these people around me.

8. Make new friends

Many cities have started Face Book groups or pages dedicated to their area so that all Pokemon trainers have access to each other. This has sort of started a society of people, where people are getting to know each other and become friends.

9. Catching adorable critters

The Pokemon can be so cute too. Like Squirtle, Pikachu, and Jigglypuff.

10. Catching awesome rare creatures

If you aren't catching a darn Rattata or Pidgey, then I consider you luckier than I. Anytime you add something new to your collection it can be so exciting!

11. A dream come true

Many people I am friends with are in their late teens to late 20's, and they all played Pokemon as kids. Now that it has evolved into this awesome virtually reality, it is every thing they dreamed of as kids.

12. Helping people with mental diseases

I found an article Pokemon Go Is Having an Effect on Players' Mental Health that talks about how Pokemon GO has forced people with mental illnesses to get out of bed and go out into the world. "Honestly Pokemon go is probably going to help a lot with people who have depression," wrote Tumblr user The Awesome Adventurer. "Because rather than laying in bed all day we are getting up and going outside and actually enjoying ourselves."

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
