Let's face it: if you're reading this, you are probably somebody who misplaces their possessions more of than you'd like to admit. Whether it be your keys, backpack, phone or pretty much anything else, your stuff always seems to go missing! Here are 12 of things you know to be true if you are constantly losing your stuff.

1. You lose your phone pretty much on a daily basis.

And it always ends up being in the weirdest of places or you've been holding it the whole time.

2. You know the true meaning of the word "terror" when you realize that you may actually have lost your phone.

And it isn't just buried under your dirty laundry, it's halfway across town on a bus.

3. You have lost your apartment or car keys on more than one occasion. It's pretty much the most annoying feeling in the world.

And you've had to pay a ridiculous amount of money to replace said keys.

4. You have relied on your roommates to let you into your apartment more often than you would like to admit.

And when no one can let you in, being locked out seems like an appropriate punishment.

5. Your friends have bought you some sort of tracking device to attach to your keys so you always know where they are.

Honestly, you're not even offended, just super grateful.

6. You know all too well the feeling of running late and not being able to find something you need for the day.

Sometimes you find it and other times you just decide to go without.

7. You don't own anything nice because you know that you will probably lose it.

Honestly, this is such a bad habit, but it's not going to change anytime soon.

8. And when given something nice, you immediately panic.

You're not sure if you should be trusted with that kind of responsibility.

9. Whenever you ask people to help you find something, their immediate response is, "Well, when was the last time that you saw it?"

And you can never remember.

10. You have found something you really needed weeks ago in plain sight.

The frustration that comes from this cannot be compared.

11. You are constantly worried that your stuff will fall out of your pockets.

And you pat yourself down in public, just to make sure nothing has gone missing, on a pretty regular basis.

12. The feelings of sheer relief and happiness when you find something you were looking for are extremely rewarding.

They're pretty much the greatest feelings in the entire world.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
