I am constantly finding GIFS on the internet that completely relate to my life. I literally laugh at them (and myself) for the longest time. I save them so that way I can look back on them and laugh again. So I decided to share them! Hope they are as relatable to everyone else as they are to me.

1. When you look at homework you've been avoiding all weekend

Every Sunday night when I come back to my dorm from home, I stare my homework straight in the face. Usually, the interaction then goes something like this.

2. When people look at your phone over your shoulder

This is a major pet peeve. Like if I wanted you to see what I was doing, I would show my phone to you. When I've got my brightness turned all the way down, don't you think I'm telling you to GTFO?

3. When you walk into class and see a friend

In college, there can be so many people in your classes that you don't know. So when you walk in and see your friend, you know it's gonna be a great semester.

4. How your dog feels when you come home

Don't lie, you feel the same as they do especially after a long day.

5. Hearing an old jam on the radio

I am a big fan of the early 2000's music, so when I hear a jam come on I just gotta dance (This gif literally dances to any song perfectly.)

6. Wearing a new outfit for the first time

No one can deny that they feel fresh as hell wearing a new outfit. Like, you know you laid that outfit out the night before and stared at yourself in the mirror for a good 10 minutes before leaving the house.

7. When your teacher cancels class

The best thing ever is when a teacher cancels class. Whether it be because of snow, illness, or something else, it's fantastic!

8. When someone takes your food

I was saving that food for ME, not YOU.

9. Trying to find the right outfit to wear

I honestly say this every time I'm trying to go out. I can never find the right outfit or something nice to wear because I live in T-shirts and yoga pants.

10. Trying to finish something last minute

Whether it's a paper you've been putting off for a month or an article that is due at midnight and it's 11, this is definitely me. #Procrastination

11. When your friends don't invite you somewhere but ask you why you didn't go

How dare you have fun without me AND put it on Snapchat, then ask me why I wasn't there. YOU DIDN'T INVITE ME!

12. When you have a test in your 8 am class

I'm just gonna fail, so why even bother to look presentable?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
