Pokemon Go has taken over the lives of several, making us actually walk around to catch 'em all. Since the launch, numerous brands, restaurants and businesses have used Pokemon to create awareness, increase sales and stay relevant. As a public relations major, I've grown to appreciate and see advertising differently. Here are 12 businesses and advertisements that I have encountered that have cleverly used the popularity of Pokemon Go to their advantage.

1. Who wouldn't want to catch a Pluckers wing?

2. And how about this wild Whataburger?

4. And this local HEB...

5. Others have brought together team members.

6. Restaurants, like El Arroyo, come up with clever signs: Don't drink margaritas and Pokemon Go.

7. Some have joined in the action and dropped lures in/around their businesses to gain customers.

8. And customers also get rewarded for dropping lures.

9. Hundreds of businesses just want awareness.

10. Gotta catch 'em all, right?

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
