Yes we have all been there, basically from the second we are born we are naturally awkward in many ways, and unfortunately as we grow older (teenage years through adult years) we begin to notice these awkward things we do almost daily.

Its inevitable, although you might not be awkward all the time, there's a little bit of awkwardness in everyone, and here are 12 awkward things you find yourself doing almost daily...

1. Pretending to look at something in the store because someones in front of the thing you need

Casually strolling down the peanut butter isle and of course the one kind you need someone is standing in front of, so you stand there looking at all the jelly flavors until they move, and maybe even read the nutrition facts because those two minutes feel like 10 minutes.

2. Hair got your tongue?

That awkward moment when you there's a hair in mouth, but you can't find it so you stand there grabbing your tongue continuously until you do.

3. When you tell a story but nobody listens

*Thinks of a story you're excited to tell and starts to talk* only to realize 10 seconds later nobody is listening so you slowly fade out what you're saying and sit back like it never happened.

4. Driving down the road and having to abruptly stop singing

You have the AUX plugged in and you're jammin' hard to your own concert and you have to abruptly stop because you pass a car who is starring you dead in the eyes. *pushes rewind button to start song over and sing it again*

5. Holding the door for everyone and there brother

Nicely holding the door for a cute old couple when all of the sudden it ends up being there 4 children, 12 grandchildren, there 8 kids, and the 50-person marching band that was playing down the street.

6. Realizing you're walking the wrong way and improve kicks in

Just gradually strolling down the sidewalk only to realize you're going the wrong way, so you nonchalantly hit your pockets up and down to act like you forgot something and turn the other way.

7. Saying Hi or waving to nobody

When someone walks by you waving in front of you or says hi only to realize there's someone behind you they are talking to or on the phone with someone... *awkwardly uses raise hand to act like you're scratching your back.*

8. Agreeing with someone because you can't seem to understand them

Awkwardly talking to someone and they ask you or tell you something so you say "what?" not once, not twice, but three times so you just agree with whatever they said and smile.

9. When your friend sees someone they know and you stand there awkwardly

Walking around with your friend and all the sudden you hear "Hey Susan!" and they run over, hug each other, and start a conversation so you just stand there looking around like "wow that's a really nice light bulb over there."

10. When you're singing a song and you sing the wrong lyrics

That awkward and defeating moment when you're singing a song and you sing a part of the song that doesn't come on for one minute and then sit there awkwardly humming until you know the lyrics again.

11. When someone says "tell me about yourself"

One of the most nerve-racking questions is when someone says "tell me about yourself" and you suddenly forget your name, hair color, and whether you're on Earth or not.

12. Checking your phone to see what time it is twice because you forgot the first time

Picking up your phone to check the time only to get distracted by a notification, set the phone back down and 30 seconds later do the same thing again because you forgot to look at the time.

Stay awkward, everyone!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
