Anyone who has ever watched the 90's TV sitcom "Friends," can probably all agree on one things: Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, and Joey just get us. Much of what these six fictional friends experience attempting to navigate life, love, friendship and making it out there in the world are felt and experienced by young adults all over America—but especially those of us trying to navigate the ups and downs of college life. So here are the top 11 times, the ''Friends" gang understood exactly what it meant to be a college student.

1. Every college student knows the feeling of just needing a day to do nothing at all. Whether it's after a week of four tests, coupled with copious amounts of coffee and numerous 3 a.m. cram study sessions in the library or not—everyone needs an entire Saturday with Netflix in the dorm room at one point or another.

2. Ahh college...where cafeteria food is almost always available; even if the food quality and selection isn't the greatest. But, who is here to tell you not to eat that fifth chocolate chip cookie or that second serving of ice cream? Who is also going to stop you from taking a midnight binge trip to Walmart for a bag of Sour Skittles or a box of Eggo waffles?

3. Dorm life brings out the worst in all of us. Whether it's waiting for the shower (that never seems to open) or your roommate listening to the same song on loop (for the past hour)—it's sort of inevitable.

4. If it didn't happen to you in high school, it's bound to happen in college. The moment when you're the only one of your friends that isn't in a relationship and you're the odd man out at parties or when your clan heads to the movies. But never fear! That person is out there! You might just have to suffer through a few awkward late nights trips to the movies burying your face in a bucket of popcorn while everyone else gets some lip action before they show up!

5. Ahh group projects. Every college kids' nightmare. If you thought group projects in high school were bad, try organizing a study date when one of your group members had practice till sundown, another had work, two others don't live on campus and the library closes at 11 p.m. Sometimes all you can do is slam something down on paper, and vow to go down together with whatever grade your professor gives you while praying for a miracle.

6. College is a big jump and change in lifestyle from high school. Suddenly, you're living in a new town, miles away from your family and the friends you grew up with, having to make your own doctors appointments, find your own food, and get yourself up for class. It's enough for anyone to throw up their hands once in awhile and just scream "Hey! I'm done 'adulting' for awhile!"

7. Crushes. The bane off all young adults existences. In high school, they were reserved for school hallways, and maybe a few after school clubs. If things got awkward, at least you got to hide away at home at the end of the day. College? No such luck! You live with these people 24/7! Better hide your feelings fast.

8. Just, those days. You know exactly what "days" I'm talking about. That Wednesday smack in the middle of a long week, where you slept through your alarm, had to sacrifice a shower to make it to the last half of your 8 a.m., the cafeteria was out of coffee, you had two assignments your forgot to do, a paper barely in on time and you also have to work for six hours later this evening. If dorms had bathtubs, you'd hole yourself away with bubbles and a magazine and never come out.

9. You may have succeeded in avoiding an 8 a.m. class this semester, but you couldn't avoid that 9 a.m. slot. You show up, 15 minutes late most days, trying to remember if you put on deodorant or if you even put your notebooks in your backpack. The best strategy for these classes? Keep your mouth shut, eyes open (if possible), and hope someone else in the class takes really good notes you can sneak a peek at later on.

10. Sometimes, life just sucks. Nothing is going right and it feels like the world is crashing down around you. All you can do is wallow in your misery for an hour or so, brush it off, keep your head up and try again tomorrow.

11. As stressful as college might be, these truly are the years where you will find out who you are. Being an adult is hard. Living away form home for the first time is even harder. But you're going to meet some awesome people along the way who will help you through, and have a ton of amazing experiences! So push through the bad times and focus on the good! Cause life is an adventure, and yours is just getting started.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
