It's that time of year again. The end of summer vacation is upon us. Whether you're going on a last minute road trip or a week long vacation to paradise, there's one thing every vacation has in common: packing. If you've ever been on vacation, you know that there's usually a particular difference between a guy's bag and a girl's bag. Girls' bags are usually 2 times the size of guys' bags, no matter what kind of trip it is. I know, this is gender stereotyping, but most of the time it's true (If you're a woman and able to pack very lightly — kudos!). This is generally because we have a larger variety of things to pack, but, sometimes, it's just because we can't help it. Here are 11 thoughts girls typically have while packing:

1. I should make a list!

Lists help to ensure you don't forget to pack anything.

2. Did I forget to put anything on my list?

But then you don't know if you forgot to put something on your list.

3. Where the f*** did my list go?

Usually you make your list in advance, but then you can't remember where you even put it. Let the frustration set in.

4. How many nights am I going to be there again?

You end up having to recount the number of nights you're even going to be gone, because it always feels like a lot longer than it actually is when you're packing.

5. Don't forget your charger!

The number one item you can't forget to pack: your phone charger.

6. I must bring all my products!

You scramble to grab every product you might need.

7. I could possibly wear this...

You think you might want to wear just about every item in your closet.

8. I don't really need this, but I'll hate myself if I end up needing it and I didn't bring it.

You worry that you didn't bring enough and that you'll end up having nothing to wear once you get to your destination.

9. How heavy is 40 pounds?

Once you're almost finished packing, you worry if your bag is going to be over the airline weight limit.

10. Do I still have room to bring back souvenirs?

Also, don't forget about the added room and weight souvenirs add when coming back.

11. I know I forgot something.

Even after all that, you still know you forgot something.

11. Don't forget your charger...

Because you know you did.

If you're leaving for vacation anytime soon, may the packing odds be ever in your favor.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
