Hello, August! By this time in the summer, we're all feeling different kinds of emotions. Happy to go back to school, upset to go back to school, maybe a little nervous if you're packing your bags for your freshman year of college, over your summer job, HOT, sunburned, you name it! Summer a time for relaxation and fun, and whether you're excited or not for that coming fall- we're all feeling a little something this late into the summer.

1. WAY too hot

This summer has been a scorcher! At the beginning of it all, we thought it was great... we could go outside without a sweater, suntan on the beach. But now, it's getting a little overwhelming and A/C only helps indoors.

2. Realizing school is THIS MONTH

If you're like me, you have a college student and you cannot wait for school to start again. You've missed your friends, you missed dorm life, you've missed almost everything about it. (I'll admit it, I even miss the routine of classes).

3. Realizing school is this month

Then it sinks in. You have nothing packed. You don't even know your schedule. You realize that sleeping until noon will be next to impossible. Thus, the panic sets in.

4. Getting tired of your summer job

No school means more hours! You practically live there now, and you are dead tired. Maybe school isn't sounding so bad now. But, you know that you need to work to get paid. So, another day another dollar.

5. Wedding season is killing you

Everyone is getting married. You're invited to multiple, you need to buy dresses. You need to take time off (and lose money). But, you know these people, you're happy for them and weddings are always fun. So come on wedding season, we welcome you.

6. The County Fair is here already?!

I'm from Buffalo, NY, and everyone knows the sign of the end of summer: the fair. You bask in the fried food, down cotton candy until you can't anymore, and drink lemonade until your tummy can't take anymore. It's all fun and games (literally) until you realize it probably means summer is over soon.

7. SO. MANY. CONCERTS.

The meme is true. By August, most of the summer's concerts have either passed or are about to happen. If you're like me you try and squeeze as many as your schedule (and your paycheck) will allow.

8. Ow, my sunburn

By August, you've probably had a sunburn or two, and you definitely felt them all.

9. I'm gonna miss you guys

It's that time again, pack up your things you're headed to college! Whether it's your parents, best friend or cat, you're going back to college means less time spent with them and you're gonna miss them.

10. School supply shopping bliss

We all know the feeling. We see the school supplies in school again and your heart kind of drops? "SUMMER JUST STARTED!" you scream. Let's be real, though, you secretly love going to stock up on school things.

11. This is the best summer, ever

By the end of every summer you definitely want to be able to say "this has been the best summer ever". Hopefully, you're feeling a little of that by now.

No matter what you've done this summer, or where you live, there's probably something on this list you can relate to. So when you're packing your bags for school again, look back on this summer and know that despite the millions of weddings and painful sunburns, you lived it to it's fullest. There's only one summer 2016, and it's ending soon. So get out there and enjoy it!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
