Going on to my last semester of college, I can't help but look back and wish I was told a lot of things. I wish I was told that things were going to be okay. I wish I was told how not to lose myself. There are so many wishes and could haves, should haves. So I hope these quotes find you people just starting well, and you take my advice and these quotes to heart. It will make your college experience a little better, at least I hope. I'm sure they would have improved mine.
1. Do not judge. You make friends with the most unexpected people, and sometimes they're the best you could ever ask for.
2. Be friends with people who make you the best version of yourself. They'll help keep you on the right track and help you become the person you're supposed to be.
3. "By any means necessary" should never be a thing. Try not to lose yourself. You are too important to be another lost soul.
4. "People who mind don't matter and people who matter don't mind." Just because someone doesn't think you're good enough to keep around, doesn't make it true. Change yourself for no one and keep your good friends close.
5. Spend as much time with your loved ones during holidays, whether it be your friends or family.
6. Don't compare yourself to everyone else. Life should be about personal records.
.7. Mistakes are a necessary part of life. It's more than OK to make them. I encourage that actually.
8. Your words have impact. Be careful with them.
9. It's scary, but take chances.
10. Despite what you've heard. There are more important things than your looks.
11. This is what I wish you heard most.
