11 Songs You Can't Get Out Of Your Head After Going To Disney World

If you've ever been to Disney World, you know just how amazing the quality is of every park. One thing that stands out when you take a trip there is the music. Music is everywhere at Disney; it's the background to your good times, the theme songs to your favorite rides, and the fun element that makes parades and fireworks magical. This is a list of songs that you can't get out of your head after a trip or even just a day at Disney.

1. "It's A Small World"

"It's a small world after all, it's a small world after all, it's a small world after all, it's a small, small world..."

Whether you love it or hate it, you'll still be singing it.

2. "Carousel of Progress Theme"

"There's a great big beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of every day..."

The Carousel of Progress is one of my all time favorite rides at Disney, and I can't help but hum the song long after my most recent trip to Magic Kingdom.

3. "Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life For Me)"

"Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me..."

This one probably got stuck in your head when you spent 20 minutes waiting to get off the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

4. "Wishes"

"Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight.

I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish, I wish tonight.
We'll make a wish, and do as dreamers do, and all our wishes (all our wishes),
will come true...
"

Wishes is a classic; you get bonus points for singing the dramatic version that always plays immediately after as people leave the park.

5. "Festival Of Fantasy"

"Away we go, it's a Festival of Fantasy..."

This parade will easily go down as one of Disney's best, and the music is so catchy you'll be singing it before the second float has passed.

6. "Vamos"

"Vamos, vamos, there's a party goin' on..."

It's one of the most difficult songs to know the lyrics to, but you'll always remember the tune and the chorus.

7. "Big Blue World"

"In the big blue world..."

Finding Nemo is a great movie turned into a visually appealing ride and a cute song from "Finding Nemo: The Musical" to accompany the images of Nemo, Marlin, and Dory. You'll be singing it in every aquarium you ever visit.

8. "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah"

"It's the truth, it's actual, Everything is "satisfactch'll"..."

Splash Mountain has one of the most entertaining queues while waiting to unload from the log boats, and this song will either haunt you forever, or have you singing happily for the rest of the day.

9. "Illuminations (We Go On)"

"We go on

to the joy and through the tears
We go on
to discover new frontiers..."

Maybe it's just because I worked at Epcot, but nothing is better than Illuminations.

10. "The Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room"

"In the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Room, all the birds sing words and the flowers croon..."

The Tiki Room song will get stuck in your head no matter what, you should just accept that it's always going to be a part of you.

11. "Baroque Hoedown"

"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Disney proudly presents our spectacular festival pageant of nightime magic and imagination in thousands of sparkling lights and electro-synthe-magnetic musical sounds, The Main Street Electrical Parade..."

The song we all love to hate, or hate to love.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
