According to Mentalfloss.com, a jar of Nutella is sold every 2.5 seconds in the world. It's no secret that this chocolate-hazelnut goodness has plenty of chocolate lovers obsessed. Arguably, Nutella is heaven in a jar. So, it comes to no surprise that Nutella "theft' is common on college campuses across the country. If you're the type of person who hoards jars of this delicious substance and eats the spread straight out of the container, then chances are you have a strong addiction and may need to join a support group.

1. Mornings don't start until you've had your Nutella on bread

It's similar to coffee; You're not ready for the day until you've had this.

2. You have multiple jars of Nutella in your dorm and in multiple sizes

It's just that good. And you definitely don't want to run out. You're not about to take your chances.

3. Seeing Nutella knockoffs make you legitimately angry

You've tried them all. But no other brand can compare to the original Nutella. No matter who disagrees, you will fight anyone who dares say these copycats can replace this precious chocolate-hazelnut spread.

4. You will forever pick Nutella Milkshakes over plain chocolate

You're drinking Nutella through a straw. It doesn't get any better than that.

5. You shed actual tears during the 2015 'Nutella To Be Discontinued' prank

And then felt beyond relieved once your found out it was all a hoax. This April Fool's day joke was NOT funny.

6. You take pride in brainstorming different foods to eat with Nutella

The banana dog is a personal favorite. The sky really is the limit.

You consider it to be a second birthday deserving of serious celebration. It's the one day where you can spread your love of Nutella to everyone you know.
