If you were anything like me in elementary and middle school, then your wardrobe was almost entirely composed of Limited Too. It was a sad day for me when all of the branches of Limited Too became Justice and I celebrated when it was announced earlier this year that Limited Too was being brought back to life. What was it about that store that we loved so much when we were little, but that made our moms nauseous? Looking back, I think that some of us can agree that this store was one of the reasons why we look back at our middle school days a little regrettably, but this store was our go-to regardless. Pull out your jar of glitter, we’re going to take a walk down memory lane and revisit our favorite Limited Too memories.

1. The Cami Collection

I was a late bloomer. Actually, I’m still a late bloomer. Limited Too had an infinite collection of camis with built in bras that were perfect for a girl like me who wasn’t ready to come to the terms with the idea that she was becoming a woman. Layering three of these cami’s at once was my go-to look for every outfit.

2. Knick Knacks At The Back Of The Store

We all begged our annoyed moms to buy us the fuzzy blanket with monkeys on it and the box of candy-flavored lip gloss. If mom wanted to make a quick getaway from the store, she would buy it for you to shut you up. Otherwise, good luck.

3. Bedazzles Everywhere

If you had a piece of clothing from Limited Too without artificial bedazzles glued on, you must have had a very rare piece of clothing. Nearly every product that the store sold was sequined, sparkled, or bedazzled.

4. Back To School Swag

With celebs like Aly and AJ, Hilary Duff, and JoJo being the representatives of the end of summer sales at Limited Too, your first day of school outfit, back pack, notebooks, pencil case, glitter pens, etc. were all Limited Too.

5. The Jewelry Collection

If you couldn’t get your mom to make a trip to both Claire’s and Limited Too on the same day, you’d be able to survive by buying Limited Too jewelry and accessories. You didn’t care if all of your jewelry had monkeys and frogs on it, you were a proud tween.

6. Tankinis

As Britney Spears once sang “I’m not a girl, not yet a woman." For us girls who weren’t ready for a full-fledged bikini yet, Limited Too gave us a surplus of tankinis, which came in all of our favorite patterns: polka dot, monkey, and sparkle.

7. Same Patterns, Different Colors

If a shirt wasn’t sparkly, it was polka dotted. If it wasn’t polka dotted, it was striped. If you were really lucky, you managed to find something with polka dots and sparkles at the same time. You could have every color imaginable of the same polka dotted shirt and you did not care.

8. Monkeys, Frogs, And Cheetah Print

The Limited Too monkey was far cooler than Bobby Jack and the brand made this known by putting it on all their clothes. The monkey later gained a froggy friend, who was equally as cool. If you didn’t want an animal on your shirt smiling at everyone, though, they had plenty of cheetah print.

9. These Things

Is there even a name for these? Either way, you would work this bag anywhere from school dances to sleepovers.

10. All Of The Latest Tunes

Hannah Montana, Jessie McCartney, Hilary Duff, and the Jonas Brothers are just a few of the artists who’s CD’s you collected at the store and played time and again on your Limited Too karaoke machine and CD player.

11. It carved your way into becoming a teenager.

We usually associated our middle school days with Abercrombie and Hollister, but, before that, Limited Too was really what helped us make that transition from being a girl to being a “tween." Admittedly, I think that we all can agree that even the word "tween" makes us a little woozy, but, at the time, we felt on top of the world. Thanks to Limited Too making the world a “girl’s world,” we have some dorky pictures of us in sparkly shirts and memories that last us a lifetime.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
