1. They gave you thick skin.
Your guy friends will probably torture you in ways no one else can. They know about your past and they love to make you relive it, but this is a good thing! Now, you aren't phased by anything people say about yourself because you've already heard way worse.
2. They are honest and confrontational.
If you're being weird, they will tell you. If you're being crazy, they'll tell you. Feel like you've been falling off the deep end? Did they tell you? No? Then you're all good. Keep doin' you.
3. You can go days without talking while apart, but that doesn't mean you miss them any less.
Simply @ing them in the comments section of a meme you found on @fuckjerry's Instagram is enough to make them know you care, regardless how long it has been that you've talked last.
4.They never fail to make you laugh uncontrollably.
No matter how dumb, immature, or random it may be, you'll probably laugh... especially when you try not to.
5. You can endlessly make fun of each other without any hurt feelings.
Imitating one another has become a special talent that you've mastered down to their every movement. The best part is, when one of you roasts the other real bad, you can admit it and laugh along.
6. They always find the best new songs.
Whether it's a remix of your favorite pop song or the new hottest mixtape, your guy friends always know when it's about to drop.

7. They are literally always down to go out.
There's really no excuse to go out, and if you try to find one then try again. They will find a way to pound a few beers in any situation. To them, every problem is fixed with a night out. If there's a blizzard, zombie apocalypse, or you're deathly ill, you better plug in your flat-iron and break out the mascara because you're going out anyway.
8. They tell you when you’re messing up...

10. They give you boy hugs.
They may resist your hugs every now and then, but the sweet smell of cologne and a warm boy hug is always worth the risk.
11. They're the brother you never had.
No matter how annoying, rude or insensitive they can be, it's always worth it considering you know they'll be there for you through it all.
They've seen it all and you've been through it all. So give your guy friends a quick FaceTime when you're bored and feeling lonely. They'll help you add some fire to your iTunes, make you laugh till your stomach hurts, and remind you of your oh- so shameful roots while you're away at school.
