Tina Belcher is a character from the popular Fox TV show series, Bob's Burgers. While the show is full of eccentric characters, Tina is a character that is truly one-of-a-kind. She is a 13-year-old girl finding her way through her gawky teenage years by helping her dad run their family restaurant. She has an extremely unhealthy obsession with horses, erotic fan fiction, and her father's rival-restaurant's owner's son, Jimmy Pesto Jr. While she may come across as an awkward girl that's a little to in-love with butts, she is a character full of substance. The love she has for her family, the self-awareness and love she has for herself, and her personality that is full of pizzazz makes up for her awkwardness. And let's be real...we've all been at that awkward stage. Tina is full of amazing attributes that make her a wonderful role model for the viewers of Bob's Burgers.

1. She knows that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

This is an important characteristic for young girls. Tina understands the importance of loving herself and other's loving themselves as well.

2. She is always in it to win it.

Competitiveness isn't as bad as people make it seem. A little healthy competition never did anyone wrong.

3. But she know how to stay humble.

Staying down to earth is something that Tina has mastered. You may be the brightest color in the crayon box, but no one likes a person full of themselves.

4. She knows her strengths and uses them to her advantage.

This is self-explanatory. Find your strengths and use them. It will get you places.

5. But she still admits her weaknesses.

Finding your weaknesses is just as crucial as finding your strengths. Understand what your weaknesses are and work on them until your weaknesses become your new strengths.

6. She stands up for herself and doesn't let anyone make her feel less than worth it.

People are mean these days. Tina knows how great she is and reminds people when they forget.

7. She isn't afraid to let people know when they get on her nerves.

Bless anyone who can openly say this to someone. Tina Belcher is the OG savage.

8. She knows that you never need a boy to complete you.

You go, girl. If you can't love yourself, no one will.

9. But that doesn't mean that she'll give up on you easily.

Tina has a fighters heart. 3,000 hours is a long time, people.

10. She is in touch with her emotions.

Thanks to Tina, now we all have an expression that truly encompasses how adults feel 90% of the time.

11. She sticks true to herself and doesn't let anyone change her.

No matter what comes Tina's way, she never let's it change her from the same ole' Tina that everyone loves.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
