If you've ever watched even a season (or binge-watched all 11 seasons on Netflix in a month) of the hit TV show "Grey's Anatomy," then you already know two of the stars, Meredith Grey and Cristina Yang, are pretty much as close as best friends get. Starting out simply as two interns in the same surgeon program at Seattle Grace Hospital, the characters quickly develop a relationship most girls desire with their best friends. If you've watched the show, you know they have pretty much coined the term of being each other's "person," meaning whatever the situation may be, your person is the one always there by your side through thick and thin. Not only is having a person a reliable convenience for tough situations, but they can also be your emotional support and comic relief through it all. So how does having a person, like Meredith and Cristina do, make life easier? Let me tell you:
1. When you are stressed, your person is the one you always get to "dance it out" with, even if it is just a 30-second dance party in the middle of an OR.
2. When all else fails for both of you, your person will always have the tequila on hand no matter where you are.
3. You most definitely have sleepovers, even if your significant other just so happens to be there.
5. Even when the love of your life leaves you at the altar, you are by no means alone.
6. If one of you doesn't like him, neither of you like him; no exceptions.
8. You know you'll have someone to grow old with and share memories from the past.
9. The two of you are around each other so much that others begin to refer to you as a package deal, and you might even get a nickname if you're lucky.
10. You know exactly what the other one is thinking without saying a word.
11. Last but not least, even when they're gone, they will always be your person.
