When it comes to TV series, a lot of people give up watching when the plot shifts around. However, a bad habit I have developed is that when I start watching a show, I watch it until it is no longer on TV. As a result, I am currently up to date on an estimated 22 TV shows, including a show that many people have given up on — "Pretty Little Liars."
With changing villains, similar plot lines and lots of confusion, many people gave up on "Pretty Little Liars" long ago. "Who is A?" and "Why do these high schoolers dress so well and why do their parents not check in on them, like ever?" are common questions Liar fans and former fans have been asking for a while. Regardless of the questions and the confusion, I believe "Pretty Little Liars" is still a great show. Therefore, I would like to present below 11 reasons why I still watch "Pretty Little Liars."
1. It's relaxing to watch other people be stressed instead of living out your stressful life.
Sorry Hanna, but I'd rather watch you guys be chased by some psycho than worry about my own responsibilities.
2. The couples are all just so adorable.
Spencer and Toby, Hanna and Caleb, Aria and Ezra ... adorable even though they're not together, they still love each other and that's what really counts.
3. All of the men are HOT AF.
Exhibit A: Ezra aka Ian Harding is bae.
4. There's a lot of shirtless men.
Thank you, Freeform.
5. The women are pretty beautiful as well, and smart — aka role models of the year.
They also understand that sometimes life can just get to be too much. Preach it, Spencer.
6. They are great fashion role models.
Emily Fields shows us that you should be able to wear whatever you want whenever you want
7. Hanna reminds us that there are some things that we should prioritize.
You do you, and remember that you are important.
8. All of the plot twists keep the fans on their toes.
Wait a second, wasn't Mona "A" like last season? And now she's helping? Am I "A?"
9. It reminds you that life is short, therefore you should say what you feel.
Don't hold back, you could be next on the hit list, right Aria?
10. It solidifies in your brain that if you love someone, tell them.
Love is a battlefield, but if you love someone, go for it.
11. It teaches you that people will underestimate you but you can always prove them wrong.
Yes, you are a fast learner, Spencer! You go girl.
