For those of you who don’t watch "RuPaul’s Drag Race," or just aren’t familiar with the show, if I had to describe it in one word: well, I couldn’t. It’s completely outrageous, amazing, dramatic, and hilarious. When I first heard about the show, I didn’t know if I’d be into it, but now, I can’t stop watching. I’ve watched a season and a half in one day, and I regret nothing. The show is nothing that I ever expected it to be. I recommend that everyone watches it, here’s why.

  1. It shows you a completely differentlifestyle of men in drag.

2. The illusion and art of the makeup and outfits they create and put together is so breathtaking and surreal. They have so much talent. If they don’t, well, “Sashay Away.”

3. The drama and the judgement is real.

4. RuPaul will give you chills. He is stunning.

5. The drag queens pretty much promote acceptance and the LGBTAQ+ community. Something that Ru repeatedly preaches is that drag queens get to pick their family despite hardships they faced throughout their upbringing.

6. RuPaul is the "end-all-be-all" of the entire competition. His decision is always the one that counts of all the judges, and is always the final one.

7. On that note, just a friendly reminder that the two gifs pictures above are in fact, the same person. It only took me two seasons to realize this. Respect the transformation.

8. The range of different fashion styles and choices are compelling.

9. Their overall excitement from winning mini challenges will give you live and happiness.

10. There is always someone in the group of 14 that has a bad attitude from the start, which ultimately leads to all of the drag queens praying for that person's failure. The drama is amazing.

11. Whenever there's enemies, they always somehow become best friends by the end of the show.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
