It's come to that time of the school year again: midterms. For any college kid, this is like a wake up call. It means it's time to actually get it together (and by it I mean your grades). Every year midterms sneak up on us, no matter how hard we try and keep track of the semester. You could look at midterms two ways, "Wow, I'm halfway done with the semester!" or, "Wow. I'm only halfway done with the semester...". Most students seem to have that second reaction.
Even though we've established it's time to get down to business, the procrastination will inevitably set in. My number one source of distraction while procrastinating is social media (especially reading Odyssey articles). So, for all of you that should probably be studying for a midterm right now, here's 11 motivational quotes to hopefully inspire you to get to work:
1. “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.” -Walt Disney

2. "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard." -Tim Notke
3. "Every great story on the planet happened when someone decided not to give up, but kept going no matter what." -Spryte Loriano
4. "Successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do. Don’t wish it were easier, wish you were better." - Jim Rohn
5. "It does not matter how slowly you go, so long as you do not stop." -Confucius
6. "I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have." -Thomas Jefferson
7. "Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm." -Winston Churchill
