11 Of The Most Highly Underrated Disney Characters
Disney Wiki

Everyone has their favorite Disney character, whether it's Anna, Elsa, Woody, Buzz or Winnie the Pooh and his gang, but there are always those characters in Disney movies who, honestly, don't get enough credit. This list consists of 11 Disney characters who are highly underrated and should be given more recognition.

1. Nigel from "Finding Nemo"

Who can forget the huge bird that flies in on a daily basis to see the little fish in the dental office and decides not to eat them? Remember, fish are friends, not food. We also can’t forget just how huge he is in "Finding Nemo: The Musical" in Disney's Animal Kingdom. His Australian accent also can’t help but make you love him. The fact that he also helped to save Nemo gives him double points!

2. Iago from "Aladdin"

I think that we all can relate to Iago in a way. He gets overly frustrated with everything under the sun, but is also mischievous and cunning in a cute way.

3. Zenon from "Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century"

I know that this is a DCOM, but we all know that this movie deserves a spot on this list. One of the greatest movies created for the Disney Channel, Zenon encompasses what it’s like to be a teen her age. She’s also from space! We all know that we fangirled over Prota Zoa too, don’t lie!

4. Ethan Craft from "The Lizzie McGuire Movie"

Although he always came off as unintelligent, he always meant well to people. Ethan was never mean to anyone and tried to help Lizzie out, but failed miserably in the end. You can’t help but love his dorky grin and boyish haircut.

5. Aslan from "The Chronicles of Narnia"

Aslan and "The Chronicles of Narnia" will always be underrated in my opinion. The fact that he stands up for the kids and sacrifices himself makes him one of the most heroic characters in Disney history.

6. Hades from "Hercules"

Hades is my favorite villain by far. He has the most sarcastic attitude out of all the Disney villains and his sass could kill. My life goal is to meet Hades at Walt Disney World if it’s the last thing that I do.

7. Rex from "Toy Story"

The always enthusiastic green dinosaur from "Toy Story" will always be one of my favorites. He may be clumsy at times, but I’ve always been fond of him for making light of things and being the comic relief of the movies.

8. Madame Leota from "The Haunted Mansion"

Madame Leota has an iconic role on the ride, but, in the movie, she’s not given nearly enough credit. I’m not going to lie, the movie scared the living daylights out of me as a child, but Madame Leota provided some type of comic relief with it. She can also talk to the dead, which is pretty awesome.

9. Giselle from "Enchanted"

I love "Enchanted" just because it’s different from any other Disney movie because it’s animated and live action in one movie. McDreamy from Grey’s Anatomy also plays Giselle’s love interest, which makes it that much better. Giselle is hilarious and sweet at the same time. Plus, the music from that movie is actually pretty amazing in my opinion.

10. Tantor from "Tarzan"

Tantor is the cute little elephant from "Tarzan" who has a timid attitude. You can tell that he has a huge heart, though, and always means well for his friends. Also, you can't get much cuter than the scene when he’s a baby elephant for an animated movie.

11. Mushu from "Mulan"

Mushu is Mulan’s companion and confidant, acting as her brave protector. He’s overconfident for how small he is, but he provides humor to the movie and is always one of my favorites. If he ever does a meet-and-greet, you'd best believe that I’ll be one of the first ones in line to meet him.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
