For those college students (like myself) or anyone who is on a budget, finding affordable quality makeup can be a challenge. Throughout the past year I have found these 11 makeup products that fit this challenge; not only are they affordable but they are also great quality!
1. Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in the color Peach Lights
This awesome highlighter is super affordable. At $6.00 you cannot go wrong! Although this highlighter is less pigmented compared to other high-end highlighters, it lasts all day. Also, the fact that it is not as pigmented is kind of a blessing (at least to me) because it gives off a more natural look.
2. Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick by Nyx Cosmetics in the color Soft Spoken
This cream lipstick is amazing because it lasts for hours. I like using this lipstick before I go out because I do not have to worry about reapplying it throughout the night. This color is also a dupe for Kat Von D's famous liquid lipstick in the color, Lolita.
3. Ultra 32 Eyeshadow Palette by Makeup Revolution
Whether you are going on a vacation or going to college, this is a great palette to have. This versatile palette allows me to create natural looks along with dramatic smokey eyes. I guess you could call it an all in one!
4. The Falsies Push Up Angel Waterproof Mascara by Maybelline
Like the liquid lipsticks, I love this waterproof mascara because it stays on all night! Sometimes I find that with non-waterproof mascara it sweats off throughout the night and then I have every girl's worst nightmare, raccoon eyes! I have yet to have that problem with this mascara!
5. Baked Blusher by Makeup Revolution in the color Make Love Instead
This blush is EVERYTHING. It is pigmented, yet it can also be built up for a more dramatic effect. The soft shimmers create a natural glow while the color gives off a natural rosy pink color.
6. Wonder Stick by NYX Cosmetics
This stick is wonderful! Contouring was always a challenge to me but this makeup product has helped me a lot. The product is very easy to blend and is also very buildable.
7. Stay Matte Pressed Powder by Rimmel London
I have officially replaced my MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural with this pressed powder. I love to set my foundation with this product. This powder is extremely soft and lasts all day. I have normal to dry skin, but it definitely keeps my face looking matte for hours.
8. Sun Glow Matt Bronzing Powder by Catrice
This bronzer gives you the perfect glow! It is very easy to build the color yet it is also very pigmented.
9. Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray by NYX Cosmetics
I started using this setting spray as an alternative to Urban Decay's All Nighter Setting Spray. These products work just as good as each other and I cannot tell the difference between the two. Plus, NYX's setting spray is half the price!
10. Carli Bybel 14 Color Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette by BH Cosemtics
I love this palette, especially for fall. Not only does it feature 10 pigmented shadows, but it also includes four highlighters! This is the perfect palette to travel with and is a great gift idea.
11. Great Lash Mascara by Maybelline
I have been using this products for years to tame my eyebrows. This affordable clear mascara makes for a great brow gel!
