It's morning, and you are not alone in your room. First thought that crosses your mind: what kind of guy do I have on my hands? Second thought that crosses your mind: what's for breakfast? Third thought: if this guy was a breakfast food, what kind would he be?
If this guy was a breakfast food, what kind would he be?
1. A box of Wheaties.
His athletic build says he probably dreamed of being featured on a sporty cereal box when he was a kid.
2. A loaded omelette.
He's absolutely full of himself. He thinks he's got it all, but he doesn't save any room in his big head to care about you.
3. A clingy mess of maple syrup.
He sticks around no matter how hard you try to get rid of him. You also realize you never see him alone...what is he so insecure about?
4. A glob of unflavored oatmeal.
He's unemotional, lifeless. There really isn't much to him. How did you even meet him? He's just filling an empty void at this point. Maybe being alone is better than having this pile of sludge.
5. A McDonald's hash brown.
He sounded good at the time, but you feel guilty after being with him because you know it's wrong. And then somehow you keep coming back to him. You decide the oddly warm comfort that you feel outweighs the greasy shame. You can't stay away.
6. A bowl of ice cream.
He's super sweet, quirky and fun. It's like a dream come true when he offers to bring you breakfast in bed. Every girl appreciates dessert for breakfast.
7. An Eggo Waffle
He was manufactured in a fraternity to look and act like his 100s of brothers. Yet he tries to pass himself off as "original." Wow, never seen chubbies and a backwards baseball cap before!
8. An egg's benedict.
He sounded cool when you first met him. You seemed to have enjoyed your time together, but like the yolk, he escaped you.
9. A fruit parfait.
He's health conscious and shops at Whole Foods. He drinks fresh-brewed tea and his eyebrows hold a better shape than yours do. You won't tell him you considered eating ice cream for breakfast for fear of it being beneath him.
10. A chicken biscuit from Chick-Fil-A.
He is perfect, except that you want to be with him and he never seems to be available. Why oh why is does it always seem to be Sunday?!
11. A cup of coffee.
He is always there when you need help getting your day started. Whether it's adding a flavored syrup or a little bit of Jameson, he knows exactly what to do to pick up up when you need a boost. Like donuts and coffee, you two are partners in crime.
12. A Grand Slam.
He's everything you need all-in-one. He's Mr. Right. You couldn't possibly ask or anything else. Never let him go.
Maybe you're unsure about the guy you wake up with. But one thing you're absolutely sure about is breakfast. So when in doubt, compare him to a breakfast food, and you will draw an accurate conclusion about him. Is he a breakfast worth waiting 45 minutes for on a Sunday morning, or is he a quick pass through the drive-thru? Choose wisely!
