11 Crockpot Recipes With 5 Ingredients Or Less

I recently got a crockpot for Christmas thinking maybe this would help me get into a routine of cooking for myself more. Later I wondered when I would ever have the time to cook in between work, school, organizations, sleeping, and hanging out with my friends. Then I came across some of the easiest recipes for a crockpot that even I would be able to handle.

1. Honey Mustard Chicken

Ingredients:
4 Boneless Chicken Breast
12oz of French's Dijon Mustard
1/3 cup of Honey

Steps:
1. Cook Chicken on either HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 6 hours
2. Drain juice from chicken
3. Mix honey and mustard together
4. Pour over chicken and cook on HIGH for 30 minutes

2. Lemon Blueberry Dump Cake

Ingredients:
1 box of lemon cake mix (15.25oz)
2 cans of blueberry pie filling (42 oz total)
1 stick of butter

Steps:
1. Spray inside of crockpot with cooking spray
2. Evenly spread blueberry pie filling into bottom
3. Mix together lemon cake mix and butter in a large mixing bowl, then pour into crockpot evenly.
4. Cook on HIGH for 2 hours or LOW for 4 hours

3. Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients:
4 Sweet Potatoes
Toppings (brown sugar, butter, marshmallow)

Steps:
1. Wash potatoes and poke with a fork several times
2. Wrap in aluminum foil twice
3. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 8 hours.

4. Monkey Bread

Ingredients:
1 container of Pillsbury Grand Original Biscuits
1/2 cup of white sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp. of ground cinnamon
1 stick of butter

Steps:
1. Spray inside of crockpot with cooking spray
2. Melt butter in microwave
3. combine brown sugar, white sugar and cinnamon together
4. cut biscuits into 6 pieces and dip each into the melted butter, then leave in the sugar mix
5. Move all biscuit pieces into crockpot
6. Cook on LOW for 2 1/2 hours

5. BBQ Coca-Cola Chicken

Ingredients:
4 Boneless Chicken Breast
1 Bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue sauce
6 oz. of Coca-Cola

Steps:
1. Cook chicken first on HIGH for 3 hours
2. Drain juices from chicken
3. Mix BBQ sauce and Coca-Cola together
4. Pour over chicken and cook for 30 more minutes

6. Pineapple Salsa Chicken


Ingredients:
4 Boneless Chicken Breast
1 jar of Smucker's Pineapple Preserves
1 jar of Pace Medium Chunky Salsa

Steps:
1. Cook chicken first on HIGH for 3 hours
2. Drain juices from crockpot
3. Mix salsa and pineapple preserves together
4. Pour over chicken and cook for 30 more minutes

7. Lasagna


Ingredients:
1-2 packages of ravioli
16oz jar of spaghetti sauce
2-3 cups of shredded mozzarella

Steps:
1. Spray crockpot with cooking spray.
2. Cover bottom with a light amount of sauce
3. add layers of ravioli, sauce, and cheese until it is about 3/4 full
4. Cook on LOW of 3-4 hours

8. Taco Meat

Ingredients:
2 lb of ground meat
2 packets of taco seasoning
1 1/2 cups of water

Steps:
1. Mix together taco meat and taco seasoning in crock pot
2. Cook on HIGH for 3 hours

9. White Chicken Chili

Ingredients:
6 cups of chicken broth
2 boneless chicken breast
15oz of Great Northern beans, drained
2 cups of salsa verde
2 tsp. of ground cumin

Steps:
1. Combine all ingredients into slow cooker
2. Cook on LOW of 6-8 hours

10. Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork

Ingredients:
3-4lb of Pork Loin Roast
Pork Rub or other seasoning
12oz Dr. Pepper
Barbecue sauce

Steps:
1. Season the pork with seasoning then pour in Dr. Pepper
2. Cook on LOW10-12 hours
3. Drain liquid
4. Shred pork
5. Pour barbecue sauce on

11. Sweet 'n' Spicy Meatballs

Ingredients:
2 lb of prepared meatballs
16oz of Texas Brew Honey Roasted Apple Cinnamon Salsa
2 cups of dried berries
1 1/2 cups of apple juice

Steps:
1. Pour all ingredients into crockpot
2. Cook on HIGH for 2 hours
