People are always very opinionated when it comes to liking or disliking musicals. Those who say that they don't like musicals still have seen some of them or at least heard of them. Whether you are a musical lover or not, there are so many great musicals that are relatable, entertaining, and a great performance.

Here are the most common, but still great, musicals that you should see in your lifetime.

1. "Grease"

Who doesn't want to chill with the Pink Ladies and the Thunderbirds? Even if you never watched either the Broadway show or the movie, you have to know at least one song. Whether it is "Grease Lightening" or "You're the One I Want," you surely have bopped to these tunes.

2. "RENT"

"La Vie Boheme!" It almost seems like they are all in college, but instead, they are living the life after college. This bunch of adults are trying to make money and live through their disease while making new friends.

3. "Les Misérables"

"One Day More!" All the hype of a revolution is upon us with this musical. Not only is it about a revolution, but a family story between a mother and daughter trying to survive.

4. "The Phantom of the Opera"

"The Phantom of the Opera" is there! Everyone knows the love story of the phantom and the beautiful Christine. Even though it is a love story, it involves a love triangle with another suitor pining for Christine. You better watch to see who wins.

5. "Wicked"

"You're gonna be popular!" Musical fans love "Wicked" more than anything. This how the Wicked Witch came to be and how she and Glinda met. Did you know she has a name? And she wasn't always evil too!

6. "West Side Story"

Which side are you on? The Jets or the Sharks? You have rumbles and romance all in the form of gangs. More like a modern day "Romeo and Juliet" taking over New York streets.

7. "Chicago"

"He had it coming!" Who could forget the murderesses of the Cook County Jail? As good as the music sounds, you have to remember that women murdered their husbands. It is a fight to see who gets more famous.

8. "The Lion King"

"The Circle of Life!" No one could forget the live-action Broadway version of "The Lion King." Everyone knows the Disney cartoon version. On Broadway, this show is more intense.

9. "Kinky Boots"

Who doesn't want to take a trip to the Land of Lola? Put on those heels and let's get to work. Did you know Brendon Urie starred on Broadway in "Kinky Boots?" Now I'm sure you want to see it!

10. "The Wiz"

"Slide some oil to me." Who can forget that in the movie, Michael Jackson played the Scarecrow? This is another version of "The Wizard of Oz" that you haven't heard of. Let me say that is wild.

11. "Hairspray"

"Good Morning Baltimore!" Here comes Tracy Turnbalt! Who could forget the Hairspray remake with Dove Cameron, Ariana Grande, and Ephraim Skyes! How about Zac Efron, Amanda Bynes, and Queen Latifah?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
