As humans, we go through different situations and emotions. Life has its difficulties but it is also filled with happiness and great things. It is important, however, to approach different situations, good or bad, with faith. To me, having faith is having hope that I can make it through anything. It is not really something that is easy to explain, but when we have faith, we have something to look forward to.

As individual thinkers, we are powerful. Keeping a positive attitude when things seem tough will help us move forward. Faith guides us to live positively and to live a good life. Unwavering faith will drive you to be confident and strong, even when the idea of it seems impossible.

The Bible is filled with words that empower, strengthen, and give clarity to our lives, but the words alone do not have an effect on us. It is faith.

Here is a list of Bible verses for every situation in your life. Have faith in what you are reading and of course, in God.

1. When you need faith

Hebrews 11:1. Once you have faith, you have nothing to fear

2. When you feel lonely or like an outcast

Romans 8:31. Sometimes we feel like we don't belong, but keep in your mind and heart the love that God gives us. He is always with us.

3. When you need confidence

Luke 1:37. Another great one is Philippians 4:13. Remember that faith makes you stronger and God has your back.

4. When you feel sadness or pain

Romans 8:18. Pain is natural, but it does not last forever.

5. When you feel lost

John 13:7. Sometimes life seems unfair but remember that God has a plan for us all and that everything will be okay.

6. When you are going through changes

Jeremiah 29:11. Change is hard but faith makes it easier.

7. When you need strength

Joshua 1:9. God always has your back. Trust Him.

8. When you feel stressed

Matthew 11:28. You are never alone.

9. When you experience a loss

Psalms 34:18. Anytime you experience a loss, whether it is a job, a loved one, a friend, remember that the Lord will carry you through it.

10. When you need support

Isaiah 41:10. God is the greatest source of support and encouragement

11. When you need peace

John 16:33. The world may not have peace, but in God you will find peace.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
