Ah, college.

A road some of us drive along... or are viciously dragged along, to experience higher education and a whole new life of new and exciting adventures. At some point in your college career you may feel an extreme, yet sadly desperate, dedication to your college life. Whether in classes, or in extra curriculars, you try to put everything you've got into it. You tweet about it, you call your grandma about it, it feels as if college is what made you you.

But what better to describe your infatuation, or sad frustration, with college than ice cream? After all, to some of us, ice cream is what we look forward to for a night in our jammies on the couch watching "Grey's Anatomy", to help us take a break from reality.

When you need ice cream to help you through a hard time, keep a look out for the right flavor for your time of need.

1. When finals week is over, and the semester actually went well

For once, your stress will be gone before the ice cream takes you on a magical ride of deliciousness.

2. When your coffee addiction is calling but it's 11 p.m.

Too late to buy a cup of coffee, so this may be the best sweet substitute.

3. When you have a crammed schedule all day so you eat a huge dinner and save room for dessert

Sure, you might've had pizza for dinner, but no one knows that but you, right? Dispose of the evidence.

4. When you are up at midnight and feel like you just can't do college anymore

Giving up seems like the easiest option sometimes, but ice cream is much cheaper than therapy.

5. When we all know it's that special week each semester

6. When you go to a party with your friends and they say "try this!"

That sure made me feel funny.

7. When you get to vote in your first election

I vote for President Ben and Jerry!

8. When you're a millennial and in college

We just want to be happy...and have a successful career and a family and be sane and not pay student loans until we die. Imagine it.

9. When the 'Freshman 15' finds you in your junior year

I swear it was never going to find me but, the ice cream found me first.

10. When the semester is over and you crack the first beer open

Such a beautiful sound, such a beautiful taste, and that brownie batter swirl. MMM YEAH.

11. When you change your major and finally figured out where you belong

In all seriousness, some of us have the hardest time finding out where we fit in best and where we believe we'll have the most success. Ben and Jerry found the ice cream business, we sure can find something that we're passionate about, too.
