As college semesters start coming to a close with the dreaded finals, students will begin to head home for the holidays. If the college kids are anything like me, they have a few hour drive to get to their hometown or wherever they are spending the holidays. Here are ten rocking songs that are sure to make your car rides home feel a little bit faster.

1. "Burn the House Down" - AJR

The trumpets have this nice cruising down the high way feel while sticking your hand out the window (unless it's raining).

2. "My Blood" - Twenty One Pilots

An anthem for you and your friends when you want to lift each other up and know you've always got someone there for you.

3. "Valentine" - 5 Seconds of Summer

Whenever I listen to this song all I can do is bop my head. Their voices are so smooth and the beat just puts a smile on my face.

4. "Kamikaze" - WALK THE MOON

Taking a step in the direction you are most uncomfortable with, but doing so with confidence. This is a great pump up song when heading to anything you are scared to do.

5. "Simple" - Florida Georgia Line

Imagine cruising down the freeway along a river, not a worry in sight. Just enjoying the scenic view.

6. "Breathin" - Ariana Grande

For anyone going through something, it is nice to just have a little "pick-me-up." Just keep breathin'.

7. "Tip Toes" - half alive

A nice little alternative rock song to get your blood pumping.

8. "Why" - NF

Gotta have an angry rap song to scream the lyrics of. If you've got any pent up aggression, which I'm sure you do.

9. "Do It All The Time" - I DON'T KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME

This is that one random song you don't skip, but half way through realize you wish you did, but you some how enjoy the song.

10. "Feel Something" - Jaymes Young

If you're single and getting a little desperate, here's a nice one to just sing all alone to your solemn self in the car.

There's A Perfect Luke Combs Song For Every Situation

If you're going through ANY kind of situation, Luke probably has a song for it.

Saying that I'm a Luke Combs-lover would be an understatement. I've seen him in concert almost more times to count on two hands, I've met him, I have his autograph... I'm a little obsessed. Knowing every lyric to every song of his is definitely a talent. He is an incredible artist and has gotten me through every tough time I've ever been through.

1. "One Number Away"

If you have an ex who you really just want to pick up the phone and call sometimes, then this song is definitely for you. It has such a strong meaning explaining that if you're just lonely and missing someone that you probably shouldn't, they're only one number away..

2. "When It Rains It Pours"

Having a bunch of bad crap happen all at once is awful, but then again, it sometimes works out for the best. If you've ever had a bad day or week where it just seems that one bad thing is happening after another, then this is definitely a jam for you.

3. "This Ones For You"

If you have that certain person or group of people that really have always been there for you and helped shape you into the person that you are today and you really feel like you owe them something, this is the perfect song that will really put into words how you're feeling!

4. "Be Careful What You Wish For"

Sometimes we take what we have for granted, and we don't realize what we have or how good we have it until its gone. Most could say they've been in this situation once or twice or at least know someone that has. If so, I highly recommend listening to this gem by Luke!

5. "Must've Never Met You"

We have all had that one person in our lives that we have ended things with and we have all of these people trying to be positive saying, "Oh, it gets better," or "The grass is greener on the other side." Sometimes that can be hard for us to believe. This is definitely a super meaningful song especially if you've ever been in a situation like that.

6. "She Got The Best Of Me"

If you have ever been with someone who truly has got the best of you, and when it's over you kinda just feel like there's nothing left of you, then you DEFINITELY need to hear this song!

There are so many more Luke Combs songs that have such deep meanings and backgrounds that could fit the perfect situation for you. Luke really is such a great artist with the best intentions for his fanbase, The Bootleggers. Go check him out, I promise you won't regret it!

5 Reasons That This Taylor Era Will Be One Of The Most Fun Eras

...Are you ready for it?

Taylor Swift has had many eras. From the simple country era all the way to the darker and edgier era of reputation. I have a feeling that this next era is going to be the most fun and happy we have seen of Taylor.

1. The Music Videos

Everyone, even if they do not like Taylor Swift, will agree on one thing: She has some of the most incredible, eye-catching, and cryptic music videos out there. She's a woman who pays attention to detail, likes to throw in hints about new singles and album titles. The woman is a genius when it comes to planning a music video.

2. The Album

The album. It always comes down to the album. The first singles are never the best from the album. They are enough to get you excited, but they do not show the depth Taylor has when she writes music. Never make judgement or assumptions based off the first couple of singles. She has the ability to take that and completely flip it on its' head. I am definitely hoping for a pastel lovey-dovey dream of an album though.

3. The Tours

Taylor has a knack for tours. She is one of the most incredible performers out there. I should know, I saw her on the reputation stadium tour. She's so detail orientated that it makes for one heck of a performance. I am imagining a giant pastel dream, rainbows, love. I know I'll definitely be seeing her on the TS7 Tour.

4. The Interviews

"There will be no further explanation. There will just be reputation." was the motto of the reputation era. This meant no interviews, no promo. Her reputation was going to speak for itself. I am happy to say that it seems that she is going to be doing more live performances and interviews this era. I love a good Taylor interview.

5. The Collabs

She has already collabed with Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco for the first single off the new album. Who could possibly be next? Enough said.

This era will be magical.
