1. Make lists and physically cross things off.

Writing down and checking off makes a simple finished task feel so rewarding! Prioritize your homework, know what you are confident in and what you need to work on.

2. EAT!

Don’t forget to eat. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all three so important. You will notice a loss of energy without it. Stay on top of your diet, and treat your body right. Remember to also stay hydrated!

3. Take Breaks.

You won’t retain any of the material you are studying if you never stop and breathe a little. Study for a few hours, go eat, watch an episode, a repeat.

4. Exercise.

Keep up on your health, it’s what will give you the energy to finish the year with a bang.

5. Wake up. Don’t sleep all day.

Sleeping until 3pm is a waste of a day! Get up and put yourself together a little bit, it makes you feel so much more productive.

6. Work ahead.

If you feel like you have nothing to do, get ahead in a class. In a couple of weeks when your drowning in homework, you’ll have one less assignment to complete and will thank yourself.

7. Coffee.

Rely on coffee because it’s good for the soul.

8. Start studying early.

Cramming for an exam that you are not ready for is so stressful. Start early so that when you are cramming, it is mostly reviewing instead of trying to learn it all at once.

9. Get some fresh air.

Even if it is 7 degrees outside, don’t lock yourself inside for the next 4 weeks. Enjoy the 10 degree days!

10. Wake up with a positive attitude.

Wake up and let the first thing that you think about be how close you are to the finish line. And as Professor Sulentic would say... Visualize, Strategize, and Execute your success.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
