As spring break quickly approaches, many people have planned out a wild trip at the beach filled with all of the stereotypical college party shenanigans. There are a lot of stereotypes about the group as a whole, but what people forget about is all of the characteristics of each person that make a group that’s ready to have a great time.

Here are 10 types of girls you’ll see on Spring Break as told by childhood cartoons:

1. The Mom

Every friend group has that one person who is the mom of the group. Her responsibilities include making sure no one does anything stupid, talks to weird dudes on the beach, not drinking too much, and organizes the plans.

2. The Indecisive One

There is always that one person who holds everyone else up because they cannot make up their minds. Whether it be because they don’t know what to buy, wear, or eat, they are always holding up the group.

3. The One Who Over-Accentuates Herself

Everyone wants to look and feel good in their own skin, and doing so in a bikini is sometimes a difficult feat, so there are always some girls who rely on push-up bikinis or alternative methods to help themselves stick out from the crowd. This isn’t a bad thing, but it’s bound to make other girls jealous.

4. The Moocher

Whether it be sunscreen, clothes, alcohol, or food, everyone knows that one girl who always wants to “borrow” (aka steal) everyone else’s stuff. Even though she sees it as an innocent act, it can get really old really quickly.

5. The Lover

This friend is the one who falls in love wherever she goes. She can always attract so many guys, but only wants the jerks who will play with her emotions for a day then be seen holding hands with someone else on the beach the next day. Even though you know chances of it turning out well are slim, there is no stopping this girl from getting what she wants.

6. The One Who Looks Good... And Knows It

Envy is real when this girl walks by. She has the ideal body and a perfect bathing suit to go with it. While she’s the friend you want to punch for being so perfect, you know you’ll comment on her Instagram bikini pics saying “SLAAAAY” with a bunch of fire emojis. Being the good friend you are, you’ll still tell her she looks great even though you know she’s already aware of how hot she looks.

7. The Lobster

This is the friend of the group who has been cursed with the fairest skin of them all. No matter how much sunscreen she wears and how covered up she is, her entire body will be red and craving aloe after only five minutes in the sun.

8. The One-Piecer

One piece bathing suits don’t work for everyone, but there are some people who can totally pull them off. You never even question how this girl does it because you know there’s no way you can ever get close to the level she’s on right now.

9. The Adventurer

This girl is always “just one of the dudes.” She wants to do all of the craziest things and doesn’t care if anyone joins her or not because she’ll definitely make other adventure-seeking friends along the way.

10. The Best Friends

No matter how good of friends you are with this bunch when they are alone, whenever the rest of their squad rolls up, you definitely won’t fit in. They are the most synchronized people who know each other better than they know themselves.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
