Sexy is a wonderful word. It holds so much emotion and expression within its four letters. It makes people feel confident and a little uncomfortable. Recently, I have found myself using the word sexy to describe more than just people but objects, actions and ideas as well.
According to the dictionary, sexy means sexually attractive, sexually aroused OR informally exciting or appealing. Sexy in an informal setting can be used to describe something you find interesting, appealing or intriguing.
Drinking water
Everyone needs water to survive, right? So obviously watching someone guzzle down some luscious H20 and keeping themselves alive is a pretty sexy thing.
Sarcastic remarks
When trying to indicate that an action should be ceased at the earliest convenience, using the word sexy can send the hint without using foul language. Saying “the way you let food hang out of your mouth is sexy” really causes an individual to reflect.
2am Subway
The sexiest people you’ll find on campus are the party fiends who roll into subway after a late night of raging. Make up smeared, hair a little frizzy and dirt half way up their legs you just know they had a night for the books. Their sexiness comes from the sparkle in their eyes when they get that sandwich.
When your underwear matches your bra
This is how you know today is going to be a good day. Even if you are the only one who sees the miracle that happened when you got dressed this morning, you know your whole day will be better because of it.
Friday
As countless singers have raved in their songs, Friday is the end of the week and the start of the weekend. What’s better than knowing you can blow off responsibilities till Sunday? Nothing.

Wow, don’t get me started on these sexy staples. I wore these all of freshman year (even on pref night…) and they’ve never let me down. With a slight similarity to your distant uncle’s shoe choice, the leather straps and perfect arch support form to be the ultimate choice.
Smiling
In all seriousness, no matter who you are, where you come from, what you wear, how you think or what you believe- a smile is sexier than anything else you can do. Smiling allows sexiness to be shared between everyone and well, it really just makes the world a sexier place to live in.
