Facebook is where people love to post about everything going on in their lives. Most Facebook posts are things that no one really cares about, and some are just straight up annoying. If you're wondering whether or not you should post something, check out this helpful list of things you should never post or do on Facebook.

1. Minion memes

Just seeing this makes me cringe. These aren't funny and they really don't have anything to do with the Despicable Me movies so I just don't get it.

2. Checking in EVERYWHERE you go

Occasionally letting people know that you're trying that new restaurant in town or going on a fun trip somewhere is perfectly fine. But if you're telling the world every time you go to the grocery store, you're just making it easier for people to stalk and murder you...

3. Photos of blood/injuries/broken bones

I'm sorry that I'm even including an image in this post... People who get squeamish do NOT want to see the x-rays from when you got in that accident and broke your arm. And we DEFINITELY don't want photos of that cut you got at work that's bleeding all over the place popping up on our news feeds.

4. Profile photos that aren't a photo of you

The whole point of a profile photo is so people can know who you are. Are you physically a car with the technology to create its own Facebook account? No? Then your profile photo shouldn't be a car. End of story.

5. Those lists of names

We're all sick and tired of seeing these posts that are meant to target people with commonly used names. Someone just decided to pick a bunch of names of people they knew and threw them all together in a list. Please help me as I start the movement to end these types of posts once and for all.

6. Constantly advertising your direct sales side job

Facebook is a great place to reach a lot of people for your business. But if you're constantly flooding people's news feeds with "BUY THIS" and "BUY THAT," you start to lose their interest and eventually it just becomes a nuisance. It's good to find a healthy balance when trying to sell Lularoe, Avon, Tupperware, etc. on Facebook.

7. Pointless rants/arguments

Nothing makes you look tougher than fighting with someone over the internet. NOT. You're just flooding people's timelines with your personal business. We don't want to see it, and you shouldn't want to broadcast it to the world.

8. Relationship drama

If all you want to talk about is how happy you are with your boyfriend, go for it. But if you're on-again, off-again with your significant other, don't share all of your relationship drama with the rest of the world. Just deal with it yourselves and stop letting other people into your love life.

9. Fishing for pity/compliments

We all know people who do this. They post something vague and sad in order to get people to comment on it asking them "What's wrong?" There are also those people that post a photo saying how the photo of themself "isn't cute" so that someone will comment saying that it is.

10. Sliding into DMs

And lastly, don't "slide" into anyone's direct messages. Don't be that creepy guy sending messages to random girls online. That's not the way to win anyone's heart, trust me.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
