Ahh December, full of snow, cold, finals (joy...), and Christmas! While there are a lot of negatives to this month, this truly is the most wonderful time of the year and here's why.

1. You don't mind when people decorate early.

You enjoy Christmas decorations so you don't mind when people put them up before Thanksgiving.

2. You love Christmas decorations in general.

You're basically a judge on the great Christmas light show. When you see perfectly decorated houses with beautiful lights and pretty wreaths it makes you happy. But on the other hand, you cringe when people mix types of lights.

3. Family time is the best around the holidays.

Even if your family drives you crazy, you can't wait to see all of your cousins, aunts, and uncles in the same place.

4. And so is friend time!

Whether it's getting together with friends for ugly sweater parties or white elephant gift exchanges, you enjoy the time you have with your friends.

5. You start listening to Christmas music the second December 1st hits.

While some people complain and say it is too early, you blare "Jingle Bell Rock" and do the "Mean Girls" dance alone in your room.

6. You love giving gifts.

You love Christmas, but your wallet doesn't. You want to prove to everyone you love how much they mean, even if your wallet is light.

7. You love receiving gifts.

While you will never admit it, this is probably your favorite part about Christmas.

8. You love watching Christmas movies.

" Miracle on 34th Street", "Polar Express", "Elf"...you love curling up in front of the fireplace drinking hot chocolate with your family.

9. All the foooood.

Ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberries, potato casserole, green beans, bread, yes I will have seconds. And thirds.

10. You still celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.

With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, you still remember what Christmas is truly about.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
