10 Things You Should Know BEFORE Dating A Scorpio

Here are a few tips for all you people that like to understand a person by their zodiac sign before dating them. The zodiac sign Scorpio is born between October 23rd and November 21st. This list is more from my own personal experience rather than a group consensus. It may not be true for all Scorpios, but in my opinion, it has been true for me thus far.

1. Scorpios can have a temper.

If you find out that you're dating a girl that falls under the Scorpio sign, be aware that she will get feisty. I'm a Scorpio and I have a temper. It takes a while for me to get there, but when I do, talking to me only makes it worse.

2. We are romantics.

Scorpios say that romance isn't for them. Or at least I have said that before in the past and it's not entirely true. If I'm going to be in a relationship, I expect a certain amount of romance to be involved. Physical and mental.

3. Scorpios are blunt.

I never dance around what I'm really trying to say. If I need to talk about something, I don't hold back or bite my tongue. Scorpios are honest and expect the same in return.

4. Scorpios like alone time.

Being a Scorpio, I like my alone time. When I don't get time to unwind and recharge, then I get very irritable. Sometimes - not always - I will have a bit of a tantrum. I could live by myself and not think anything of it.

5. Scorpios observe.

Scorpios tend to be quiet in a room full of people. We observe what is going on around us more than speaking with another person. My bf asks me all the time how I notice certain things while we are out and it's because I observe. Just because a Scorpio is quiet doesn't mean they aren't paying attention or listening.

6. Small groups of friends work better for Scorpios.

If your dating a Scorpio, then chances are that they don't have many friends. It's not that we can't make friends; it's that we spend a lot of time gauging a person and figuring them before we call them a true friend.

7. Scorpios don't mix well with all signs.

From my personal experience, there are some zodiac signs that I just don't get along with. It's like trying to mix oil with water. It just doesn't work. The zodiac sign Cancer is one that we usually don't get along with. Leo is another one.

8. Scorpios are usually the creative type.

Again, just from personal experience. I'm crafty and love to design and decorate things. I can't paint, but I love to scrapbook and write.

9. Scorpios tend to enjoy the quiet.

I could sit all day long without the television or the radio on. The quiet soothes me and gives me time to think.

10. Scorpios can get bored quickly.

In relationships, we tend to be the type that gets bored with falling into a mundane boring routine. We prefer a little spice and spontaneity to keep our interests. Falling into a routine gives me the feeling of being trapped on a dead-end road.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots.
