There is everything to like about dogs and nothing to not like.
They are most likely the descendants of angels and are probably the purest lifeforms on the planet. Am I going too deep with this? Basically, dogs are amazing and if you agree then you’ve probably said at least some of the following things.
1. "Can I pet your dog?"
This question can lead to the most joy you will probably experience all day.
2. *Inaudible screeches and baby talk*
Just seeing a dog from far away or even having an encounter with one can lead to some weird noises you're not proud of. The baby talk is also very necessary when addressing furry friends.
3."Can you ask them to pet their dog?"
Sometimes theres a little bit too much pressure and you have to ask whoever you're with to break the ice with the dog owner for you. Totally normal. At least I hope.
4. "Will there be a dog there?"
After being invited to anything at someones house this question is crucial. It can really be a determinant if this occasion is worth your time, and an indicator of how much fun is to be had if you end up going. Yes? Most likely will make an appearance.
5. "This is the cutest dog I’ve ever seen!"
You probably say this about every dog. Actually, you definitely do. And it’s true every time! Every dog is the cutest dog is what i’ve personally come to notice.
6. "I want all of them."
Ever walk into a candy shop and start drooling and not know where to even start because it all looks amazing? Basically walking into a pet store or dog shelter is the same except with less drooling and less wanting to eat everything. Okay, maybe it’s nothing like a candy shop at all and that’s a bad analogy. All I know is that I want every single dog in there and when I leave with none it actually physically hurts my heart.
7. "I don’t mind if they jump!"
You know when you walk into someones house and their dog completely attacks you with their tongue and almost knocks you over? I really don’t understand why the owners always try to stop them. I’m actually really enjoying this if you don’t mind, thank you.
8. "Can I keep them?"
Every dog lover has found a dog looking for a home and desperately tried to convince their parents or whoever their living with to take in the sad puppy. Usually doesn’t go over well but it’s always worth a shot.
9. "Don’t tell anyone I’m giving you this."
Dogs deserve everything they want, which is why sometimes you have to give them a little bit of your food or one extra treat just for being adorable. Seriously, how can anyone deny those puppy-dog eyes?
10. "I love you."
You say this to every dog you come in contact with. But they're dogs and they don’t understand and they wont be offended. Plus, its true, you literally fall in love with every dog you cross paths with- it’s inevitable.
I just want to shout out all the dogs out there. Every single one of them. Thank you for bringing endless happiness to the world- I wish everyone could be like you!
