1. Where are you? Are you home yet?
Unlike humans, cats don't get to venture into the world every day. As an owner, you're their best friend. This means that when you're gone they miss you like no tomorrow. Expect lots of 'I miss you' texts.
2. It's time to feed me. There's no one here.
As a cat they can't just refill the food bowl themselves when it is empty. As an cat owner, you have to refill the bowl for them. So if you are not home and their food is empty expect lots of texts saying 'When are you coming home? I'm hungry!'
3. I caught you another lizard again. It's a present for you.
Cats are natural hunters. So if a lizard finds its way in the house the cat will try to catch it. Your cat will be very proud to text you and tell you about its latest catch whether it is a lizard or a cockroach or any other type of bug.
4. I'm having an on again off again relationship with the neighbor's cat. I thought I should tell you. Is she coming over again?
Cats don't always get along with other cats. Sometimes they will like the neighboring cats and other times they won't. So you might get some texts telling you about their current relationship with the neighboring cat and if they can come come over again.
5. Can I have some of your food?
Cats will never hesitate to ask for some of your food. If you are cooking they can smell it. You have to be careful what foods you feed your cat because some are dangerous for cats. If it is something a cat would normally eat like meat or fish, offer it a small piece and see if it will take a bite.
6. Can I please go out? You never let me out.
A lot of inside cats like to think they can be outside cats. They like to try to escape. You have to watch the door when you get home and leave. You may get a lot of texts saying can i go outside? You never let me outside. You may have to remind your cat that they are an inside cat.
7. I scratched on the curtain again. I hope you didn't mind.
Cats really like to hide behind curtains. Cats love scratching on things. Your cat will really like to scratch on your curtains. You may get a lot of texts from your cat letting you know that they scratched up those curtains again you like. Your cat will probably act like it is no big deal to them. You may need to get them a scratching post so they have something else to scratch on.
8. I took over your room again when you were at work. It's my room now.
Cats love spreading out all over the place. Cats especially love being on beds when no one is on them. You may get a text from your cat saying that they took over your room when you were at work or school saying it is their room now. You may find when you get home that your cat is trying to claim your bed all for themselves.
9. Miss you.
As your best friend anytime you are gone, youre cat will miss you. It doesn't matter whether you are gone for one day or two weeks they will miss you. So expect everytime you leave the house to get lots of I miss you texts.
10. Love you.
It doesn't matter what you do, your cat will always be there for you. Your cat loves you unconditionally. Expect to get lots of texts telling you I love you from your cat.
